In turn because of the mail build up in the box when the mail is brought back to the station the carrier puts a 30 day hold for possible address change . He will continue to deliver mail but maintain the portion picked up previously at the station. If the box fills agin and it has Been 30 days carrier submits change of address order as addressee unknown or moved no forward on file. This holds true for po office boxes also with an overflow a notice is left mail is pulled marked for 30 day hold and time reaches the 30 days mail is suspended and returned to sender
