I Need A New Rc Car Any Recomendations

What's the best beginner RC car?

in my opinion, Traxxas has the best ready to run setups avalable. Also their parts are widely avalable and, depending on the car, they are easy to find upgrades and aluminum colored replacement parts if you want. That being said, the Traxxas SLASH PLATINUM would be my suggestion. Parts are cheap and easy to replace. The car is very durable and forgiving. Also everyone is correct, you WILL break parts. I suggest getting a set of a-arms and drive lines before you even leave the store. Also if you decide to put a LIPO on it be sure you monitor the electric motor heat constantly. I even geared mine lower to keep the heat down and about the time the LIPO dies i have to let the car cool for about 10 min. Also something to think about. 4wd or 2wd. I have both. 2wd is ok if it never leaves the road much at all. If you try to use a 2wd in the dirt alot you will lose control alot or you will never really open the car up to med-fast speeds very much. 4wd however has great control and makes a noticeable difference in ease of use. With the right shock + ride height + angle of attack = driving across walls and chainlink fences for quite a ways. This never seems to get old for me and i have even made little wall running courses up to 2 stories in the air before the car begins to lose traction and i had to come down my ramp.Losi makes a truck that is almost the same as the SLASH but with 1 important difference. OUT OF THE BOX the Traxxas VXL motor is water RESISTANT. If you go with a Nitro powered car Traxxas comes with electric start on them. F.Y.I  Some races require nitro cars to remove the electric start. And some races make the electric cars de-activate their reverse function.

Electric trolling motor thrust recommendation for a 14 ft aluminum boat.?

i have a minkota 36 lb thrust on a sylvan sea snapper 14' it does a fine job. i can fish all day with no problem. in all kinds of weather. it pushes my boat along at about 2.6 mph full throttle. i would say that the 44 would be plenty of thrust for your boat.
my boat motor fish finder everything is now up for sale .but if i ever get another boat in the 14' range i would probably look for a motor about the same size.any other questions i'd be happy to help longhairjim33@yahoo.com

How can I get RC Willey to give me a new mattress?

Read your warranty closely. They cover themselves pretty good and your probably out of luck. Most will say that the depression must be more than a certain inches and you must have rotated the mattress according to their recommendations on schedule. Most depressions are considered normal wear and tear especially if you are overweight and your inspector may have taken that into consideration. Of course I have no idea if you are but it is usually written into the warranty.

The bad news is that even though almost all mattresses come with at least 1 year warranty, most people will never be able to claim on the warranty because their policies are so well written. It's just an unfortunate gimmick.

How was your experience of selling your car to CARS24.com? Will you recommend their services to others?

Cars24 is the biggest Fraud company in India. After my Chevrolet Beat LT broke down I had given it to Trident Chevrolet service center.Since the cost of repair was on the higher side and I being the second owner, I decided to sell it off. Chevrolet offered me Rs60,000.I then approached Cars24 as I had heard good reviews on the FM regarding the company . They sent a technician in a week's time and within 2 hours I got an offer of Rs 1,10,000 for the deal.Since it was almost double of what Chevrolet was offering me I went ahead with Cars24.I signed a contract with them the next day and handed over my original RC,insurance papers and spare key to them. As a token amount they transferred me Rs 1000 on the same day.The next day my car was towed away from the Chevrolet service center. After 5 days the Cars24 representative, Arun who sits at Koramangala Cars24 head office in Bangalore , told me that the ECM of the car was missing. I apparently came to understand that ECM is the most important and expensive part of the car without which a car would not move. They started blaming Chevrolet service center for it. We then went to cars24's head office and spoke to Arun and his manager Anshul. They told us that within 2 days they would get back to me.Today they mailed me asking me to take my car back. It's been 11 days that my car is with them and now they are asking me to take my car back.Anyway I have told them that I am not taking my car back now that it doesn't even have an ECM and also since a contract has already been signed.I wouldn't recommend Cars24 to anyone.

Can someone explain satellite radio to me, please?

I'm thinking about purchasing a kit that includes: Includes satellite radio receiver, car cradle, remote control, UL listed DC adapter, antenna, cassette adapter, car mount, and vent clip.
I see that this has a casette adapter, but will this work without using the casette adapter?

My husband has a 2007 Ford Ranger with no tape deck. He wants satellite radio for Christmas, and I want to surprise him. I just don't want to buy the wrong thing cause I'm totally clueless!!

If this wont work without tape deck, can anyone explain how to hook these up or give me any recommendations of a kit to purchase that's easy to install?

There's another I've looked at that includes: Express EZ XM receiver
XMSC1 sure connect antenna
Home dock
Mobile dock
AC adapter
12V power adapter
RCA audio cables
Vent clip
Three-month XM activation card.

Basically, I am so confused! HELP!

After how much kilometers should I change tyres of my car?

There are a lot of factors that determine the maximum mileage of a tyre. The type of rubber, hardness , and profile are important factors. It also depends on how the vehicle is being driven. Skidding, burn outs and hard braking also wears out tires faster. Other factors are how often the tyres are rotated, aligned, and balanced. Most tyres have a tread wear mark on them which is an indicator that the tyre needs replacement.Image source : Michelin Car Tyres, winter and summer tyres, 4 season tyresWhen the tyre tread wears down to the marked level, it's time to change the tyre .In some cases sidewall damages and bulges would also require a early replacement of the tyre.

Why are Mercedes-Benz oil changes so expensive?

Because they can and because people will pay it.I have a Porsche Cayman. I had the dealer do the first oil change and was charged $310, and I supplied the oil!I asked why the cost was so high and was told that Porsche requires them to let the oil drain for a full hour. And I think to myself: I'll bet the mechanic is required to do nothing for that hour but watch it drain. His answer did not pass the red-face test. If I had been told that it was because they supply courtesy cars I would have understood. So I did some research and found a garage run by car nuts who race Porsches. They did a better service than the dealer and charged me $100. I am ok at that price for a car that only needs to have the oil changed every 10,000 miles and I don't want to buy ramps that would be necessary to do the job myself.Update:There have been a number of good comments on this post. Most suggested changing the oil in the car yourself, and of course, that is an option. One comment by RC Taylor was about changing brake fluid so it might be worth adding some info on car maintenance here.I generally follow the “Lifetime Maintenance Schedule” by Mike Miller (see link below) for automobile maintenance. It was written for BMW’s but much of it applies to all cars. In addition to regular oil changes, I change the coolant and brake fluids in the car every other year. RC stated that he tests the brake fluid for water. I just change the fluid every other year because it has a tendency to pick up water which can cause expensive brake repairs and changing brake fluid is not that expensive.https://www.dslreports.com/r0/do...
