I Need A Poem Or Ryme For My Mum And Dads Birthday

I am looking for a poem to read at my dad's 60th birthday party?

Copy the words to the song " (You are the) Wind Beneath My Wings"

Poem in spanish for moms birthday?

Check out these 3 short poems... hope they help you.

Madre, eres la flor
que ha nacido en mi jardín
mas hermosa que un jazmín
por tu maravilloso color.

Te recuerdo con amor
porque para mi has sido,
del mundo lo mas querido
de mi vida, la mas hermosa,

La mas bella de las rosas
de mi jardín florecido.

***********

Este día que ya empieza
Te felicito y te lleno de paz
Este lindo y precioso día
Que cumples un año más.

Lo mas lindo es que cada año
Celebramos sin parar
Y siempre tú cumpleaños
Será muy especial.

No te desanimes con los obstáculos
Mira adelante y siempre triunfarás
Porque eres una maravillosa persona
Y yo se que siempre lo serás.

Cuando estés triste nunca te olvides
De tus hijos que te apoyan
En las buenas y en las malas
Y nunca te dejaran.

Siente junto a ti mi apoyo
Vamos unidos hasta el final
Que Dios te bendiga y te guarde
Y que cumplas muchos años más.

************

Cómo no quererte,
si eres la razón de mi existencia.
Cómo no quererte,
si me guías en camino justo.
Cómo no quererte,
que aprendí de tus consejos.
Cómo no quererte,
si diste toda tu vida por mi.
Como no quererte,
si tú eres la más grande para mi.
Cómo no quererte,
si de tu bella interior
me supiste cuidar y amar.
Cómo no decir,
que eres mi adoración.
Cómo no entregar,
todo amor de hija a ti.
Cómo darte las gracias,
por todas tus bendiciones.
Que DIOS te bendiga.

Poem in spanish for moms birthday?

OK hey whenever I write a poem I do it in free verse. I think it would be cooler if you wrote the poem.
Remember in Spanish you can use imperfect rhyme, in which you only match the vowels after the last emphasized vowel in the last word.
I wouldn't worry about versification, I never do. :P

Seriously, you'll think about something. Spanish is a language with many possibilities, and you will know how to use them specially if you're a native speaker. Just use free verse, and maybe add two rhyming words per stanza more or less.

What happens when your birthday is on Income Tax Day?

Papers scattered on the table,
Notes on napkins and old envelopes,
We don't, we can't waste anything.
No accountants, no computers,
The 8th grade dropout does it all,
The genius whose father died when he was 12.

"Shhhh, Daddy's doing his taxes."
"Don't shush her, I need a break."
"You were born on Income Tax Day,
And I was the happiest man on Earth.
I always left it to the last minute,
I don't do that any more."

Dad, you were my inspiration,
While the world mourns and complains,
I think of Tax Day as a celebration,
And celebrate the right to pay,
And wish that you were here today,
But you will never leave my heart.

What is the best poem you have written or got on a birthday?

approaching thenYou wrote for this writer:The end of the road cameAs time would have itWe fight for space in societyAnd know not the goal we setThe race beginsAnd time wins. You're no longer fighting for spacebut still struggling for time - so I have stirred your linesinto eternity:Every road when endingEnds into another way,Every time it's happeningIt happens now - today.Your fight for space in societyIs a game within a gameAnd not a race for anxietyPerformed with solemn sobriety,For reaching a goal called fame.Living is choosing,Implies fighting,Is life; For words are confusingCreators of strife.Living is winning,Is loosening, is rife,For you die in beginningTo understand life. For the goal in this gameIs to play according to ruleAnd your personal aimIs playing it cool. For the goal is the race,Is eternal, is living, is time,And my aim is paternalIn giving this rhyme. So, begin your RACEAnd seek the unknown. All will fall into placeIf you try not to rhymeYour race against time. For every road when endingEnds into another way,Every time it’s happeningIt happens now - today.

My son moved out on his 18th birthday!?

I was trying to be as caring as I could be for my son. And I was. When I saw something was unfit with his friends, I took them away. I homeschooled him. I monitored his AIM messages and with that I found out he has been writing depressing poetry. I took him to counseling and on his 18th birthday, I woke up to find a note on my kitchen table that says, "You are a horrible woman. I am going to live with the friends you took away from me. Goodbye."

What did I do wrong? In case you might need this information to help answer my question, he was looking tense on the weeks coming up to his 18th birthday. He seemed excited and I had a feeling he was just going to walk out. I want him back in my home! He's not responsible enough to leave! I still want control over him and I want him safe.

Is there anything I can do?

What can I write for a dying father's birthday?

Tell him you’ll always love and remember him, but then, specifically, think of a few of the things that you shared together while you were young: places you remember having fun with him, stories he told you or songs he sang to you while you were going to sleep, a present he gave you some Christmas or birthday. If there’s something you think he might feel he did wrong — maybe being too harsh to you at some point or not giving you that pony or BB gun you wanted when you were 11 — let him know that you now understand why he did what he did and have no bad feelings about it.If your mom has passed away before him, or if you have memories of his parents, share a few of your memories of them as well: It’ll mean a lot to him to know that their memories will still be around after he’s gone. Share some memory of one or two of the very very early things about him that you first remember experiencing as a toddler — maybe playing with him with a toy, or hearing him tell a story to you.If you have children of your own, share something that you think they’ve appreciated about him and will remember and maybe someday tell their own children.Write about something important that you learned from him, something that you might have never understood or appreciated if he hadn’t been in your life to point you toward it.I think the most important thing people want to know when they’re looking toward not being here themselves is some reassurance that they’ve left something worthwhile beyond just pure material stuff, and that anything they might have done that was wrong or less than perfect will be forgotten or at least understood and forgiven. That’s all a bit long for a birthday card, but think about making it into a gift… a small journal with separate pages that you’ve filled with those different memories.I think that if I were in your father’s situation someday, that’s what would be most meaningful to me, and I know that when I look back on my own parents, those are the sorts of things I wish I’d shared more fully with them when they were still here.MJM
