I Need A Reason For Each Connective

Connective tissue...?

Marleyna, Connective tissue is one of the four traditionally classified types of biological tissue. There are many different kinds of connective tissue. In general, they serve functions of structure and support, often connecting two other types of tissue to each other. Connective tissue usually derives from the mesoderm, the middle of three layers in an animal embryo. The characteristics of connective tissue are largely derived from the extracellular matrix, non-living material that surrounds and supports the living cells.

The older classification of connective tissue had two subtypes: proper, which covered areolar and fibrous tissue; and specialized, which included bone, blood, cartilage, adipose (fat) tissue, and reticular tissue. The newer classification has four categories: loose connective tissue, dense connective tissue, cartilage, and other.

Loose connective tissue includes areolar, adipose, and reticular tissue. Areolar tissue is a mesh-like tissue with a fluid matrix that supports the epithelium, tissue that makes up the skin and other membranes. Adipose tissue is fat, which provides cushioning and insulation, lubrication in some areas, and energy storage. Reticular tissue is similar to areolar tissue, but contains only reticular fibers made of type-III collagen in its matrix. Reticular tissue supports a number of bodily structures, notably the organs of the lymphatic system.

Dense connective tissue is divided into regular and irregular connective tissue. Both have a matrix composed mainly of collagen fibers. Dense regular connective tissue has a matrix of parallel collagen fibers. It is very strong and connects other tissue types to each other; tendons connect muscle to bone and ligaments connect bone to bone. Dense irregular connective tissue has irregularly arranged collagen fibers and comprises the lower layers of the dermis, or skin.

What nsaids can i take if i have mixed connective tissue disorder with the lupus anticoagulant antibody?

Absolutely talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking any additional medications. Chances are you're already on prescription medication of some kind. Not all medications get along with one another. Complications could be severe. Please don't play with this and be your own doctor. Get advice.

Does anyone know or have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease and Symptoms??

My CBC is 2.5 (Low). Does this mean anything and is there a Great doctor who knows something about this disorder?? I have been to 3 Rheum. already and Internal Med doc is in the dark .

What is the connective link between reptiles and mammals?

You must have studied about the mammal that lays eggs in high school. The duck billed platypus. It is the connective link between reptiles and mammals. It has reptilian features, such as it lays eggs. And it also has mammalian features, such as suckling its young ones.Monotremes [platypus] and prototherians [echidna, ant eaters] are not considered true mammals, because they do not have a true placenta, which is exclusive to eutherians [cats, dogs, humans etc]. Marsupials [kangaroos] are not considered true mammals either.I'll not delve deeper into the details of the evolution of reptiles to mammals because that's beyond the scope of the question.

Is the disturbance of connective networks between neurons and brain regions the main reason for mental health problems, and if so why can they not simply be fixed?

Our thoughts are a result of connections between neurons, as is our behavior. It would be hard for anyone to convince me that there are objectively normal or abnormal thoughts. The normality of thoughts is determined by the opinions of those who perceive the thinking of others. I think that unless a brain is physically deformed, then it is probably working properly. I do not subscribe to the notion that there are irregularities in brain chemistry that cause mental health problems.I think it is much more likely that mental health problems stem from stress and trauma, especially stress and trauma that is invisible to others. I think that people who are labeled as “mentally ill” usually are responding very appropriately to their situations, once you find out the whole story of their experience. The problem is that people tend to hide their trauma and feel ashamed of the things that have gone wrong in their lives. This is what causes mental illness: shame and the need to hide the shame. The theory that there is something wrong in the way neurons connect or communicate to each other comes from the difficulty in seeing that mentally ill people have a lot of stress and trauma in their lives. If you assume people have normal lives, how do you explain abnormal behavior? One likely candidate is that something is wrong with the way their brains work. However, if the reality is that people have a lot of stress and trauma that is hidden from view, then that stress and trauma is likely to explain their behavior. In most cases, I predict, people’s behavior will make a lot more sense once you understand their hidden stress and trauma. It is for this reason that I recommend people be provided with safe spaces to discuss the things they are ashamed of. If they can find a place where they can speak in depth about their shameful experiences without being judged and shamed, they can work through those experiences and come to understand how their past stressors and traumas cause them to behave the way they do. This can provide a basis for understanding and figuring out better ways to respond to circumstances that other people won’t find so disturbing.

Is blood also called fluid connective tissue?

Yes, it is a fluid connective tissue.Conncetive tissues are tissues that supports, connects, or separates different types of tissues and organs of the body. Its cells are surrounded by and Extracellular fluid, fibres (protiens) and the ground substances (proteoglycans). Both fibres and ground substance togethr consitute the matrix. Now coming to blood. Blood lacks fibres, which makes it more fluidic. But at the same satisfies the definition as, it is connecting different organs and tissues at the same time it also acts as a barrier. And hence it is considered as special connective tissue.

What is known as the fluid connective tissue?

Fluid connective tissue are those group of cells which make connections between different organs, thus tissues by there fluid matrix. The connections are mostly meant for supplying nutrients, gases (O2 andCO2) essential for the cells for their living. The fluid connective tissue is mainly blood and lymph. Its in the most microscopic level in capillary beds where exchange of the above stuffs occur between the vessel blood and interstitium. Then from the interstitium, cells get those things they need into there intracellular fluid. Its the ECF that connects fluid connective tissue to other tissues.

What is the function of connective tissue in the muscle?

(1) Connective tissues are what connect the muscle cells to bones and other tissues. Without the connective tissues, contracting muscle cells would do practically nothing useful.(2) Muscle cells have a high metabolism and energy requirement, which is met by the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to the muscle cells. Connective tissue layers called epimysium, perimysium, and endomysium are the passageways through which blood vessels get at the muscle cell and every muscle cell is closely enveloped in blood capillaries. There’d be no way for these capillaries to get in there if there weren’t connective tissues between the muscle fibers.(3) Skeletal muscles can’t contract unless a nerve fiber can reach them and stimulate them. The aforementioned connective tissue layers also give access for nerve fibers.(4) Thicker layers of connective tissue (epimysium and fascia) separate one muscle from another in tight muscle compartments, enabling on muscle to contract independently of the neighboring ones.

What are the usual factors in creating connective tissue structure?

None of these.

Why are blood and lymph called connective tissues?

Blood and lymph both are fluid connective tissues. The main function of fluid connective tissue are binding, protecting and connecting together different organs of the body. Blood and lymph both has these qualities that's why we called them connective tissue.Let us see how they fullfil these qualities :Binding : (a) Blood : it carries oxygen, carbon dioxide, digested food, hormones and waste product (urea) from one part to another. (b) Lymph : it carries large protein molecules, digested fat, germs and fragments of dead cells from the tissue fluid around the body cell seeps into the lymph capillaries.Protecting :(a) Blood : protect the body from diseases with the help of WBC(white blood cells). (b) Lymph : protect protect the body by killing the germs drained out of the body tissue with the help of lymphocytes.Connecting different organs :(a) Blood : it connects together each and every part of the body. As blood is necessary for whole body. (b) Lymph : it connects body tissues to the heart. You can better understand this by reading blood circulatory system and lymphatic system once.
