It depends where you lost it.. the first thing to do is to go back to when you last wore it and try to retrace where you went and what you did and where you were likely to have taken it off. THis may help you to find it. Have you tried borrowing the money from your parents? Assuming you get the money, what happens if you can't get the same necklace? If you have no money then there is no way you are going to get it quickly. Clearly a job is out of the question - you would have to wait at least a week to get paid. You could pawn something but if you are under 18 I don't think that this is an option. In spite of what you say the best thing is probably just to tell him. He will see how upset and guilty you are - I can feel it through your words - so it should be clear to him. If he truly cares about you, loves you then - he should be more concerned about your feelings than a "thing" - a necklace can be replaced - but he won't ever find another you. Nervous about giving boyfriend Christmas gift?
Hello everyone & Merry Christmas!! I'm meeting up with my boyfriend of 4 months and his family in a few hours. This is the first holiday I'm spending with him and I've spent minimal time with his family. I've never given him a gift before...he loves his car, so I bought him a replacement car radio/ CD player that cost me about $130 and wrote him a letter. I don't mind spending that much, but I have no idea if he will be upset by the price!! I'm really nervous about all of this, I know gifting is not the point of Christmas but it still makes me really nervous! I got out of a 3 1/2 year relationship about 8 months ago so I'm used to giving the guy bigger and more personal gifts, I didn't think to get him something smaller since it's a relatively new relationship. I'm 19, he's 18. Yes I know I'm overthinking this. What can I do to be less nervous? Should I not give him the gift? Thanks!! xoxo

Try putting a paper towel over the tip of the screwdriver, then push it into the screwhead very hard and turn the screwdriver COUNTERCLOCKWISE, very slowly till you feel it loosen.
