I Need A Song Thats Easy To Remember The Words

Why is it easier to remember song lyrics while the song is playing?

It's mostly when you remember the rythm of the song that you can remember the lyrics but when you are not sure about the rythm, you start having problems remembering the lyrics. When you are listening to the song, the rythm come to you and the lyrics also fall in the right places. One other thing is, you aren't actually remembering the lyrics during the song. There's always a lag between the time the artist say the word and the time you say yours. You actually hear what he said and say the same thing but you won't know since sound travels so fast you think you are in sync with the song.

I need a 300 word song that is easy to memorize?

The star-spangled banner has around 300 words.

Oh, say can you see
by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we
hailed at the twilight's
last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes
and bright stars thru
the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we
watched were so
gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red
glare, the bombs
bursting in air,
Gave proof thru the
night that our flag was
still there.
Oh, say does that
star-spangled banner
yet wave
O'er the land of the
free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly
seen through the mists
of the deep,
Where the foe's
haughty host in dread
silence reposes,
What is that which the
breeze, o'er the
towering steep,
As it fitfully blows,
half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the
gleam of the morning's
first beam, In full glory reflected
now shines in the stream:
'Tis the star-spangled
banner! Oh long may it wave
O'er the land of the
free and the home of the brave.

And where is that
band who so
vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war
and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country
should leave us no more!
Their blood has
washed out of of their
foul footsteps' pollution.
No refuge could save
the hireling and slave'
From the terror of
flight and the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled
banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the
free and the home of the brave.

Oh! thus be it ever,
when freemen shall stand
Between their loved
home and the war's desolation!
Blest with victory and
peace, may the heav'n rescued land
Praise the Power that
hath made and
preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we
must, when our cause
it is just,
And this be our
motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled
banner in triumph shall wave
O'er the land of the
free and the home of the brave.

Why do we remember song lyrics so easily?

I asked my mom that same question about a week ago!
the reason is because your brain remembers the words tot he beat of the music like if you studied for a test while listening to music it would help you remember so it is because the way the beat and the words sychronize that helps you remember

XHope i helpedX

I can't remember the words to this song...HELP!!!!?

I have choir and I have to remember the words to these two songs and I can't get the words to stick in my head for some reason. Any suggestions on how I should try and remember the words. thanks.

Why is it so easy to memorize song lyrics?

As compared to being unable to memorize information for a test. Like, don't seriously take this as me bragging because it's genuinely not that hard, but I memorized the entire song "Rap God" and could write it down word for word after only 4 listens, but I can't remember the answer to a question in a test a week after I learnt it. I figuratively know the lyrics to hundreds of different complex rap songs, but it's so hard to memorize maybe 2 or so answers on a test. Why?

Does anybody know the old R&B song thats has the words "do you remember"?

September by Earth Wind and Fire----

Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

My thoughts are with you
Holding hands with your heart to see you
Only blue talk and love,
Remember how we knew love was here to stay

Now December found the love that we shared in September.
Only blue talk and love,
Remember the true love we share today

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - never was a cloudy day

Ba de ya - say do you remember
Ba de ya - dancing in September
Ba de ya - golden dreams were shiny days

How come we easily remember song lyrics instead of studies?

I'm sure that rythm have a big impact on how we remember words. For example when you hear EDTA (shortage of chemical formula of Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) you will definitely remember it rather than the acid's full name. That's because EDTA sounds melodic. However for people who are well educated in chemistry isn't so hard to remember it's full name. Why? They can image what the word mean.If you read this sentence (from song Imitation of life by R.E.M): That's who you are is what you could. You are able to imagine what each word means. On the other hand this sentence (Wikipedia):In coordination chemistry, EDTA 4-is a member of the aminopolycarboxylic acidfamily of ligands. Is not so easy to remember if you can't imagine what words like aminopolycarboxylic acid family mean. What about this sentence:Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA), is a chemical originating in multiseasonal plants with dormancy stages as a lipidopreservative which helps to develop the stem, currently used for both industrial and medical purposes. You will learn that's probably something, which helps plants to develop stem and people use it for themselves in medicine. But isn't it harder to remember if you don't know what is EDTA good for, for what medical purposes, why you should even know?I think that to remember new words only memorising isn't enough. You need to understand the context.

I need a song that has the word "limelight" in it...or "lime" or "light"....but preferably the whole word...

Do singers remember all their song lyrics? As they have dozens or even hundreds of songs?

Having been in a few bands : yes and no.Yes, singers remember the lyrics of all the songs they are playing live at the time : while on tour, bands play the same set of songs at each gig, so that's 20 songs max to remember. No because amongst dozens of songs, they only play a few. If they don't rehearse a song for a while, of course they will begin to forget the lyrics (but it will be very quick to remember if need be).20 songs may seem a lot, but there is a few reasons they manage to do it :They often have written the lyrics themselves, that helps a lot to remember themThey rehearse of course. Dozens of times with the band, a lot more alone (you have to know the song to sing with the band). In the end, they don't even think about lyrics, it comes naturallyMusic is a very good memory trigger, singing on music is far easier than reciting poetry for exempleBut keep in mind that singer aren't the only members of the band ! Other musicians know each note of each song. And often (not always), that's a lot more work than the singer
