I Need An Instant Camera Or Another Solution

Why are the films for the vintage instant camera cameras so expensive?

In the 1980’s, instant films were seen as the most complex chemical consumer products ever made. I don't know if there's anything more complicated now, but consider:When you develop a standard black and white film, you have to put it in a development solution for a specified time and temperature. Then you have to put the film in a stop bath to stop the development at the right moment. Now comes the fixer solution to make the image stable and then you have to wash the film to remove a specified quantity of chemicals (not them all!) so the image will last. Now you must do all this within the confines of a camera, in a small piece of paper, at whatever external temperature and in color, without running water. That wider margin in the instant pictures contains a pocket with the chemicals. As the photo exits the camera, it passes between two rollers that spread the chemicals over the whole image. The chemicals penetrate the several layers of the photo, develop the image and meet layers of other chemicals that react with them, fix the picture and even wash the remaining chemicals. Oh yes, that standard black and white film I spoke of at the beginning, it gives you a negative image but the instant material also has to revert it so it can be positive…did I say it was a complex chemical product? That's why when they started making instant pictures again, they called it The Impossible Project.

How to store polaroid film once it has been inserted in a camera?

You should keep it in the camera.
The solution used for developing the photo is stored in that strip at the bottom of the photo . The rollers on the camera squeeze out the solution when it is forced out . So it is sealed.Best to keep it that way. It is as safe as it would be sitting in a store.
When I discovered my parents camera , the film was over 5 years old and it worked fine.
I don't know how long it will last , but it should last a long time. I know I have left it in for a year.
If you remove it, it will definetly ruin (expose)one picture .
By the way , shaking it does NOTHING to help develope it , again the solution is contained within the picture so the air never reaches it.

How can I use Fujifilm Instax in my (homemade) pinhole camera? Do I need a "instant back", and if so, how can I make one?

Without knowing more specifics I looked up a few things and I believe you will find an answer to your dilemma somewhere in one of these links. This has already been done (what you're attempting) and several solutions can be found. How I found them was to do a search like this [ instax forum “pinhole camera” ]. Minus the brackets but you must use the parentheses. Here's part of the data sheet from the Instax film.[1] This link is a PDF for the data sheet. The following links are to the most relevant forums with people that have done this.Pinhole Camera Quantitative ReasoningThis link below for PHOTRIO is your best bet.PHOTRIO.COMHere's a YouTube video also you may find helpful.Good luck, as an amateur photographer (before digital) I love to see other's experiments.Footnotes[1] https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&...

How do I view my IP camera outside my network? I can view it inside of my network but not outside of it.

Jesse Miller has provided a very detailed answer to this question. In general, you need:Assign a static LAN IP address to your camera;Find your camera’s video stream URL or browser-based management interface URL;Set Port Forwarding on your router. Also make sure to change your camera’s default password, and install the latest firmware periodically;Find your WAN IP address. Most consumers don’t have Static WAN IP address, you might want to order a DDNS service.Another solution is to use CameraFTP service. CameraFTP is a leading Cloud Recording and Surveillance service. You can configure your camera to upload footage to CameraFTP cloud storage. Cloud recording is more secure than local recording as an intruder cannot delete / destroy your recorded footage in the cloud. CameraFTP has browser based viewer app and mobile viewer app for iOS and Android. This way, you don’t need to worry about DDNS, router and firewall security. Your camera does not need to be exposed to the Internet.

FUJIFILM INSTAX 210 QUESTION?HELP! 10 stars!!!?

wow, good question. well I have yet to see one of these but I found the youtube video below. And, from plenty of instant Polaroid experience, (and a Kodak instant picture model) there is a very important item they fail to mention. At least with the American made ones I list.

In order for the instant cameras to process the images two rollers are required to spread the chemicals necessary to work the magic. these in this camera are concealed just above the film pack beside the view finder. These must be spotlessly clean. To clean them, the film pack must be removed (sorry this will ruin at least one photo as it will be exposed to light. remove it in a semi dark room and place it face down on a dark smooth surface then place something opaque over it.

Then, to clean the rollers take disposable paper towel (kitchen variety should be fine as it is relatively lint free, moisten it with cold water and rub the rollers rotating them with a little finger pressure, Possibly pressing the exposure button if turned on (camera may not allow this but worth a try) will rotate the rollers. your problem sounds to me like there is something stuck on them and then they somehow got out of sequence with the presence of the film pack...

After you reinsert the film pack, the first photo will be white as unless you do the entire operation in total darkness it will be exposed. I would not recommend trying this in darkness without an intimate knowledge of the camera and obviously you do not have this. (do not risk dropping the entire camera and making a bad situation worse.)

Two more suggestions.

Why is there no warranty? and try looking at the link below.. Just about all I know of the specific camera came from this video...( I have done serious photography for more than 30 years including camera repairs.)
