Tbh, guardian angels follow humans around and they like it when humans talk to them even in their own mind. They are sent by the Higher Being to protect humans from harm (physical and spiritual harm). How angels work, they influence those people who have clear minds and are willing to help at that moment when you are in dire need. I know you have those experiences that you might think are considered a personal miracle that you can't forget... Angels, Jesus Christ and God, himself, work that way. They can control the surroundings also. They can control your environment but They can't control your decisions in life because of Free Will. Angels also have personality so when God appoints one of them to a human, He considers the human's personality, perspective and needs first then matches the Angels who can handle that kind. Guardian angels treasure it when human beings give attention to them because a lot of people don't know that they exist. If you have questions, I will try my best to answer it.

Comforting another person who is going through something you have been through accomplishes the kindness of letting that person know that they are not alone and that other people understand their pain. It also helps validate their sadness and anger, which then in turn helps that person recover from the emotional devastation. It is also very therapeutic for the person who is doing the comforting. Seeing another person in pain and reaching out to them in an effort to do whatever one can do to hopefully ease their pain, even if it's only just a little bit, is not only kind, it is empowering as well as very healing for that person. "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever truly wasted."I don't remember what famous dead poet said that, but truer and wiser words have never been spoken.

Use "need help" (no "a"). If you need a helper (a person to help you), then "a help" is a little more unusual and might be workable but only in speech (since the listener can confirm with you).
