Yahoo! Mail - Old emails have disappeared.?
A number of people are having this problem of entire blocks of e-mail vanishing Yahoo have no idea why. The number of people on here who lose important mail, photo's, document's et al is amazing. The first rule of computers is make a back up. The second is..another one. . Hard drives die, memory sticks die, mail goes missing, with 1 Tb drives at the price they are now it's not that expensive. Better safe than sorry.
Yahoo! account verification failed (email)?
I have an older iPod (version 3) and my Yahoo email hasn't been working for the last week or two on it. It couldn't seem to connect to Yahoo mail for some reason. (I have Internet connection so it's not my wireless router.) I don't use this account very often and it worked fine before. It works fine when I go into webmail on my computer. I just received a new iPad Air so I set up the Yahoo email on it and it set up quickly with no problems. I deleted the account on the iPod and set it up all new (exactly the same as on the iPad) however after entering the account information, email address and password, the iPod shows the message "Verifying Yahoo! account information" and takes quite a long time to do that, and finally a message box appears stating" Yahoo! account verification failed. The IMAP server "imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com" is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "incoming Mail Server" field." I also have a Gmail account which I never use and it works fine on the iPod. Doesn't make any sense why the Yahoo mail won't work on the iPod.

Can I recover a previous version of a draft in Yahoo! Mail if it has been already been overwritten?
I was finished with a draft and ready to email it when (I don't know how I did this!) I deleted the text and saved over the previously saved (almost finished and lengthy) draft. I'm left with an empty page. Can I recover the previous draft as it would be nice to have something.
