My sister's LG G Pro is not working. Whenever I plug it in, it shows a battery sign, on top of it a triangular sign with a round arrow rotating clockwise against a yellow background. What is wrong with it?

That's a difficult question to answer because troubleshooting problems like this requires a lot of information about the device, much of that information being hands-on.  Ie, age of the device, health of the battery, state of software and OS, root or not, etc.  Since I don't know the answer, my best bet to help.you is to share with you a little bit of how I go about troubleshooting devices. For me, my methods never fail. My thinking starts something like this:The fact that the phone is communicating to you that there is a problem is of course a good sign. But this communication from LG in particular, in my experience, though not too specific about the exact problem, does indicate that there is some problem with energy supply to the primary components. - If you've never tried to root the phone or install custom software or a custom ROM, and the phone is pretty much stock, then its probably just a bad battery or a bad charging port. --- If the battery is removable, remove it and try to clean the connections on the battery and the phone with ethanol alcohol or something similar. ----- If that doesn't work, try buying a new battery. --- If the battery is not removable, try to go to a repair shop and get them to diagnose it and perform necessary repairs (ie, battery replacement, charging port replacement are likely suggestions you'll hear). If you've tried to root it and this is a soft brick, then I really can't help there because though your phone may very well be recoverable, evenaybe easily recoverable, I'd really need a lot of different kinds of info about the phone. If you have more specific questions, I can try to help you in the comments of this response. Good luck!

My LG Optimus L4 II E44 won't turn on. The service guys say it's software is pirated but I don't understand how. What can I do now, can I root it?

Hi, thanks for A2A.    You can do two things here!Factory Reset method :      1. press and hold together:  Volume Down + Home button + Power button for a couple of seconds.2.Release held keys when the LG Logo appears on the screen.3.Wait to complete the operation.4.The hard reset has just been performed. After you start your phone,  it looks alike a new phone. If that problem arouse because of any pirated app in your phone, then factory reset will clear out this problem. Phone will be safe.    2. If Phone OS is corrupted by malware, then factory reset won't do anything on your phone. So, its better to change the OS by getting authorized service centre. It wil clear out the problem.  Do not try to root otherwise you are a geek or an expert about it. Hope it helps!

'There is a temporary network problem that prevents the enablement of the Mobile Hotspot function.' How do I fix it on my unlocked AT&T LG G Pro?

AT&T-provided phones, whether unlocked or not, have a little extra added to the firmware which causes your profile in the AT&T database to be checked whenever you try to activate hotspot, to see if you are allowed to use that function. If that query cannot be done for whatever reason (“temporary network problem”) then you cannot activate the hotspot.Wait until the problem is corrected, or contact AT&T Customer Care.
