I Need Help Deciding A Name Part 3

Need help deciding on spelling!?

We are having a little girl. We have decided to name her after 3 different people. Lee (my best friend who passed away 2 years ago) Ann (His mom) and Nicole (his little sister).
We like the name Leigh-Ann Nicole, but can't decide how to spell the first name. Leigh-Ann, Leanne, LeAnn?

Need help with deciding on a middle name?

My friend is due in three weeks and already knows she is having a girl and she has asked me to come up with the middle name.
So her name is Keziah Roberts, so just tell me how do these sound?

Keziah Yvonne Roberts,
Keziah Tanae Roberts,
Keziah Yvette Roberts, or
Keziah Danesha Roberts.

I need help.?

PART 1:

A probability distribution gives all the possible outcomes and their probabilities.

For example, if you toss two coins and count the number of heads, the probability distribution is:
0 heads --> 1/4
1 head --> 1/2
2 heads --> 1/4

PART 2:

I can think of *four* criteria to perform a binomial experiment. Take your pick.

- Your experiment has a fixed number of trials
- Each trial is independent of the others
- There are only two outcomes
- The probability of each outcome remains constant from trial to trial.

An example would be flipping a coin 10 times.
- Each flip is considered a trial so you have a fixed number of trials (10).
-The outcome of each flip (trial) is independent meaning a flip is unaffected by the outcomes that have already happened.
- There are only two outcomes (heads or tails)
- The probability of a certain outcome is constant (1/2 for heads, 1/2 for tails).

PART 3:

If you have a binomial probability with n trials and a probability of success of p (and a probability of failure of q or 1-p), then:

The mean is:
np

The standard deviation is:
√(npq)

If you want to use 1-p in place of q, then you can say:
The standard deviation is:
√(np(1-p))

PART 4:

Think of the opposite case. It means you *didn't* get 0 successes. If you didn't get 0 success you must have gotten at least one success.

PART 5:

Take the probability of 0 successes and subtract from 1 to get the opposite case.

In symbols:
P(X ≥ 1) = 1 - P(X = 0)

P.S. I see you have asked a lot of individual questions in a single question. That's usually frowned upon, but I was nice this time. I also notice you don't ever seem to award a "Best Answer" for any of the questions you ask. Realize there are very nice people that volunteer their time going into detail to answer your questions. The least you can do is always go back and pick a "Best Answer". If you don't, then you get a reputation of just asking but never even saying thank you. As a benefit to you, you get points back when you award a Best Answer, so it should be a win-win. I suggest you go back to all your prior questions and pick a Best Answer, ASAP!

Rules for Names? Part III?

Anything you want to add to naming rules? Part III?
13. Random strings of letters should never masquerade as names, like Dy-Shiki, Rya'Noawirkiyl, etc.

14. Adding syllables to an existing name is just bad. Shanna is a fine name; make it Lah-De'Shanna and you have a stripper in training.

15. Don’t doom your girl child to a life in porn. Stripper names are BAD. Angel, Bunny, Candy, Precious, Princess, Cinnamon, Lexus, Vixen, Venus qualify especially when one of them is a first name and one is the middle name.

16. Just because it’s trendy, doesn’t mean it’s beautiful. Take Braydon, for example. Bray comes from a Gaelic word meaning 'to break wind', or "FART". Bray is also the sound that a donkey makes. When your kid is in elementary school and they do the name project, think how embarrassed all those Braydons might be.

17. If you child must wear a button that says “I am a girl” or “I am a boy,” you probably should have chosen a less androgynous name.

Alexander will be his middle name, no matter what. Thanks in advance!

Pick the worst of these names (part 5)?

Worst girls names:
1. Ldrina Aldina - Not only is it almost unpronounceable, it also rhymes. Horrible.
2. Keithalynn Aurora - Oh my godness. Did they just try and make "Keith" feminine?
3. Vyvyn Bethenny - Horrific spelling.
4. MyLee - Very silly.
5. Twrilly Jade - It's almost Twirly. How are you even meant to say it?

Worst boys names:
1. Kyayson Alek Jaice - Not unique, just very illiterate.
2. Cache Jett - "Lets pick two words, put them together and make them a name".
3. Adio Kyd - That's almost a "trendy" spelling of Radio Kid.
4. EMonuel - Unless that was a typo on your behalf, why would you make a kids name start with two capital letters?
5. Oderic Duron - Not the worst of names, but it does look like just a bunch of letters put together.

I had originally planned on just doing the worst three of each gender, but they're almost all so horrible that I had to make it five. Even then, it was hard to choose the worst ones.
