I Need Help Deciding What I Want To Be

I need help with deciding?

So basically I want to become a Hip hop artist, I am very influenced by Eminem, but, the thing is, I want a Alter Ego that's like his, that stirs up controversy, but I don't want to be called a rip off or a copy cat, what should I do? Sounds dumb I know, and please, no answers of "Why would you want that?"

Need help deciding what to study!?

I know I want to go for a bachelors in business. I've done tons of research and What appeals to me the most is administration, management, human recourses kind of fields. I live in North Carolina city area and they seem in demand. I would like some feedback maybe some do's and dont's about getting a business degree. It would be nice to have some first hand advice. I don't want to get a worthless degree and if I have to go into something else I will. Also, if you guys can recommend some good accredited online schools that would be great! thank you so much!

I need help deciding what car to buy?

It looks like you need help deciding between a SUV (Rav 4 4 or CRV), truck and a compact. You should narrow down that decision first. What is your budget like? If you end up getting that Tacoma, you will end up paying more on fuel costs. A Maxima is a higher end vehicle than an Altima, for example, in Toyota, a Camry is a higher than a Corolla. As far as what the difference really is...I would say the marketing/price, Horsepower and appearance. I have an Accord, myself, and that car is reliable and easy on the fuel costs. Search on cars.com to find yourself a good deal. Good Luck.

Need help deciding!?

Hello, i'm a 15 year old girl. I'm a freshman in high school and ever since I can remember I've had bad experiences in my life wether it was a stupid choice I made or something terrible happened. Pretty since I was 11, after my grandma died of cancer my whole family has just been a mess. I developed anxiety in the seventh grade and my mom still hasn't gotten me a therapist to just talk to. For a while I've been thinking of looking into Buddhism. Nowsl some people tell me it's very strict. I really want to look into it more. Ever since the 6th grade when I learned about it in history I've been interested. My mom is a Christian and my dads side of the family is Catholic. I never really picked a religion I could say and I talked to my mom about it and since she's a very accepting person she told me she was totally okay with it as long as I know exactly what it is. Now I know there is obviously some changes to be made before considering myself a Buddhist but I just need the slightest bit of information. I watched a girl on YouTube and she said it changed her life. I would like that. Even I have to become vegan, then so be it. I'm very serious about this because I realize I need to make major changes in my life. I feel this would help me even if it is the slightest bit.

Need help deciding which major?

It depends on what side of the business you want to be on. Do you want to be on the artistic side? In which case you'll do graphic/web design. Or do you want to be doing the technical, behind the scenes programming? In which case you could do a BS/CIS, or BS/Engineering.

Honestly, the faster and more secure way to enter the field is probably via the BS/Software or Computer Engineering. But again, think hard about what you want to do in the field - the art, or the science. Or...both? Because if you want to do both, it would be best to go to a reputable school with a strong computer graphics program, like Carnegie Mellon, Rochester Institute of Technology or Rensellaer Polytechnic. In Dallas, there is a fast growing program at the UT Dallas which may be of interest to you.

Even if you decide to go the art route, you'd probably be best served by going to a well rounded university, rather than an art specialty school. If you go to a university, you can also take courses in programming, in business, and even in retail merchandising - all things that you may need to open up your businesses.

No matter what, before you make a decision, start to look at the job listing pages in this field. Go to the websites for the major related companies in your region, and see what educational requirements they are asking for. Take that into consideration as you make your choice.

I need help deciding on a tattoo?!?

If the kid is a girl then you could get away with a rose behind a scroll with her name on it. If it's a boy, what does he like? If he's into toy cars or motorcycles put one of those behind a scroll. Anything they're into now it's safe to assume they'll always be fond of. Assuming of course they're over 2.

I need help deciding what job to take?

So I work for a nonprofit organization as an after school teacher for children who live in low income areas. I make 11.55 dollars for being bilengual in English and Spanish. I've recently been offered a full time job to work at a child development center on a Air Force base. They are offering to pay for my full tuition to get my associates in elementary school education so I could be a kindergarten teacher eventually. I really love my job for the non profit organization because I feel I connect with those kids more and they need role models for them but I also have to look out for my future as towards picking the other job who will pay me full time plus pay for my degree. What would you pick and why?

I need help deciding between UC Irvine or SDSU. I want to do Computer Science for both but for UCI I got in undeclared but SDSU as a CS major. I live in San Diego so it would be cheaper to stay and not accrue any debt from loans. But UCI has an overall better program. Can someone give me advice?

UCI, part of the University system, is certainly prestigious and takes higher GPA and test scores (or it did) to get in. Look at what the Professors are researching, both applied anfdtheoretical. If something they are doing interests you and if you have done your research into the future of that field, then you have choices to make. SDSU is a great teaching University. Do the same exercise that you do for UCI. Make sure both sets of Profs are 1. Publishing. 2. Make sure the classes you want are taught by the Profs, expecially upper division. You want to get as much brain info from your Computer heroes that you can. Sure, both schools will utilize grad. students to teach and thats ok. If you can, sneak in one class or ask a prof if you can audit just 10 minutes of his class. Be honest..tell him/ her what you are doing and you are considering them as a mentor or? Cost: Yes, SDSU will be cheaper. Who is paying? You or your folks..be considerate..my folks never had the money so I had to put my self through college and SDSU by myself. I hope I gave you just a little to think about. Good Luck.PS. I reread your question…weigh is it important to hit the ground running as you would at SDSU or wait to get into the impacted program at UCI. Call around a few corporations in San Diego, either Human Resources or the Computer Dept. and ask them directly. Ask to talk to the Director or Ass't Director. Say your from Whatever HS in SD and you have a question about your college eduction. Right now, with all the boomers retiring, the job market is wide open (Not because of Trump)..but population shift.

I need help deciding on which computer to buy. Can someone help me?

With the notion of having both a desktop and potential laptop for the purposes of doing amature movies... I'm going to recommend an Apple - Mac Pro. Why? Final Cut Pro XIn the world of video editing, there are alternatives to Final Cut Pro, but I'm going to be honest, this is one of the most dominant tools in the video editing world for a reason (I say this as someone who taught a class on Adobe Premier several years ago.) Mac has a large foot print in the video editing world for a reason, and the Mac Pro is a good tool to use for those purposes. For mobility, it pairs well with either an Apple - MacBook Pro or Apple - MacBook Air. These are not bargain basement purchases, but they are purchases that will last. 4-5 years of high productivity is not an unreasonable thing to ask of a Mac Pro. The Mac Pro also brings Thunderbolt to the table which is (in my opinion) a very niche technology, but the niche it serves best just happens to be: handling large amounts of video data moving from recording devices onto the editing computer. Most people don't move around as much data as people do editing video, so Thunderbolt is wasted on the average user. For the amatuer movie maker, however, it can quickly come in very, very handy. How much Mac Pro do you need? Honestly, I think for someone getting started in the world of video editing and movie making, the base line model should be just fine. If you can afford the bump to the 6 core processor, it's a better overall investment because it also bumps up the ram, and graphics processing but it really depends how much of an initial outlay you want to invest. Is there a Windows PC alternative? Of course there is... but not running Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro only runs on Macs. Your PC alternative software platform would be Avid and Avid is notoriously user unfriendly and hard to learn. That being said, if you wanted to go for Avid, I would recommend something like a Digital Storm Slade Custom Performance PC or  CHRONOS Pro Small Form Factor Workstation Desktop. If you go the route of a windows box, you get a ton more configuration options, and a bit more hardware for the $, but you have to wade through the process. My advice, if you're not a hardware geek yourself would be to call one of the high end builders (Digital Storm, Origin PC, Falcon NW, Maingear, Boxx Technologies) and explain your needs and budget, then allow them to be the expert builders they are.
