I Need Help Guys. My Ps3 Controller Wont Work Even If I Tried Resetting It .

Need help with ps3 sixaxis controller that freezes when it is connected to any device via usb including the ps3 itself.?

Whenever i connect it the four led lights blink slowly like four times and then remains solid!
Even with a reset it still acts the same way. And the controller doesnt charge!
When i plug it to my windows laptop it says usb not recognised.
This problem started when i tried making the controller work on my android phone...at first it frooze and i reset it and it worked fine with the ps3
Then after a while the battery ran down...that was when i discovered that i couldnt establish a connection with the controller again via usb.

Pls i dont know if anybody have experienced such before...i really need help guys

Thanks

Can you use a PS3 controller on a PS4?

No, unfortunately, PS3 controllers are incompatible with the PS4.Sony addresses this on their official PS4 FAQ:Can I use the DUALSHOCK 3 controller on PS4?No, PS4 does not support the DUALSHOCK 3 controller. They also included a compatibility chart for all PS3 peripherals:Source: PS4: The Ultimate FAQ – North America

Does my ps3 controller have a mind of its own?

Have you tried resetting it from the back? I'll give you a link just in case you haven't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkvfdvF6x... If that doesn't work you can try this other youtube video that explains how to fix the exact type of issue you are having. The only problem is you have to take apart your controller. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cnXHaHw1... Now if that doesn't work it means you need to buy a new controller.

My Playstation 1's Power Button will not work, I press it and nothing happens?

I took my old ps1 apart real quick to see what would cause this. I think I might know exactly what's wrong.

If you feel comfortable and capable enough to take apart a ps1, the fix isn't too difficult. There is a capacitor inside, which can give you an electric shock, so don't open it unless you know what you're doing when you've got exposed capacitors. Your decision, your risk...

After taking off the top half of the case and removing the plastic fastener on the power switch, I found that if the switch is pulled upwards when it's in the "on" position, there's a little staple-like thing falls out of position, and the switch ends up acting exactly as you describe. The thing looks like a mini-staple with half of one arm cut off, and it is a critical part of the mechanism that makes the switch stay down the first time it's pressed, then go back up the second time. I put the thing back into position without any trouble using a pair of tweezers. If you decide to try finding and resetting it, it goes on the right-hand side of the interior of the black box the switch sits inside of, with the cut-off arm on top pointing inwards. It will make more sense when you're looking at it.

IMHO I would say 80% to 90% chance that little staple is out of place in your ps1.

On the other hand, you could also rig up a way to hold the power button down without even opening the ps1. A morton salt shaker with something heavy on it? Prop the leg of a chair on top of it. Or something.

Either way it isn't toast, don't listen to all these people dissing your ps1 when they still make ps1 emulators for PC's and sell ps1 games for the ps3 and psp in the PS Store.

I just purchased a Westinghouse 32", when I connect my PS3, I get no signal, why?

It works if I use the component cables, but who wants to play in Standard? I've tried resetting the PS3 and TV, but nothing. I first purchased this on Black Friday. As of yesterday I brought it back and exchanged it for the same model. This one is doing it too. This has become very frustrating, please help if at all possible! Thanks

What should I do if my MacBook headphone jack isn't working?

I've had this happen to me a couple times.First, try unplugging your headphones out and back in. Yes, sounds silly but sometimes it's that easy. (Happens sometimes if you can't seem to raise volume with keys on keyboard. If no luck...Try holding down the option key and click on the sound icon on the very top nav of your macbook. Doing this will reveal additional options(you can actually try this on most of the icons up there, like wifi). Check the "output device" and make sure it's not trying to send the audio elsewhere (such as apple tv). You should ideally see an option that says "headphones" on that list. Click it.If no luck..If you do not see headphones on the list described above, try a simple restart.  That tends to get everything back to normal.
