I Need Help Naming My Male Character

Can you help me name a Latina character?

After reading the description to made, and because as a writer I have faced the same, I could offer you some samples. Because she is American she don't need to have the two surnames as we Mexicans do, then this make the thing a little more simple:Fernanda is quite possible, is modern and string and you can nickname her Fer which is short and easy. Ximena, is a much more spaniard style but quite popular among Mexicans and sounds lovely. Alejandra, then you can use the nickname Alex which is strong short and kind of universal. Soledad, is traditional and strong but sweet. "sole" is a goo nickname. Isabel, is beautiful and quite traditional, "Chave" is not a very good nickname in my opinion but is very traditional. Martina, is traditional and modern and can be shortened as Marti or TinaSandra, is old fashioned and sophisticated and can be Sandy.Julieta, July, very romantic. Fabiola, maybe she only let her father call her Fabi. Ana, easy and universal Mariana, vey Mexican there is not a good nickname. The surname depends on the the kind of family background I think. This are traditional and easy to use for a worker class family:LopezPerezMoreno  This are, in my opinion more useful for a family more in the middle high class:EcheverriaNegrete EspinosaMendozaAdameThis are more fancy "let's said" I'll use this for a rich Mexican family recently emigrated because the business needs: Fernández Del PasoAristularreaJimenez-HaroEsquivelGood luck and regards.

I need a good strong last name for my strong male character in my novel. Taylor or something else?

The last name Taylor reminds me of an aspiring poet living in NYC who owns a cat and wears a scarf everyday...not exactly strong or masculine (in my imagination, anyway)
My suggestions?
- Jackson
- Bennett
- Johnson/Johnston
- Moore
- Brennan
- Sampson
The name of a character is crucial to the tone of the story, hope I could help ya out :)

I need to name my male hero character of my book. ?

I would like an older name, from the Bible, or english, irish, gaelic, greek, scottish, celtic, hebrew... Something that's not completely odd ball but is rare nowadays. Strong syllables, like T, B, D... For a very stoic, strong male character that has a gooey soft spot for his heroine. Something romantic and not at all sissy. I've looked at baby name books and websites and can't find anything I think fits right. I need recommendations of names. Thanks.

What should I name my male character?

As a writer of this male character, you have the freedom to name him something random or to name him something that conveys to his personality, attitudes, strengths, weaknesses, etc. For example, if he is a very tough, intimidating male, then pick a name that has a similar connotation. If he is skinny, weak, and very nerdy, find a correlating name.Or, if you would like to pick something random and ordinary, that is your prerogative! What Should I Name My Character?

Writing a Vampire Story, Need last names for Male characters! HELP!?

Strong male character names?

I need a name for a guy character in my story. I was using James but the name became too... soft.
Here is a description:handsome with brown hair and green-blue eyes, strong but never had a situation to use it, tough, the type of guy girls would fall head over heels for but he never notices them, and in LOVE! I really like the names Jay, Rivers, and Isaac but they don't quite fit... Name suggestions and comments on my names are appreciated!
Thanks!
BTW here is a basic story line: There is this girl (Shay) who is a secret murderer (violent, right?) and works for this guy and then the unnamed character from above loves her and they start going out but the guy Shay works for puts the unnamed character on her hit list and she has to chose between killing him and living with it or killing herself (or being killed by the guy she works for)
DRAMA!!!! LoL!
Also, she kills her best friend! :(

Okay, yes it is a dark story. BUT it has (I think) a unique plot and a good romance and lots of action.

What should I name my female hybrid manga character?

So many choices for names. In reality, her being an undead vampiric being has little to nothing to do with what she’d be named. The culture of her surroundings and the personality of her parents matters far far more. No one knew what she’d turn out like personality like when she was born after all.Start with culture. Is it similar to humans? Related to them? What general geography or lineage? Its very easy to google names based on lineage(Greek, Japanese, ect.) and try to find one that is a nice fit. If it is something imaginary or unrelated, maybe still look up names for inspiration and alter them(In this case picking a first letter is often a good beginning). Just be aware if you craft a culture and the way they name children, readers will expect a pattern that stretches beyond just the main character. If that doesn’t work, or you want to imagine deeper, think of the couple that created this child. What personalities did they have? What was their life like when they had her? Did they have any events that may have helped decide how they named the child? A lot of times this meaning can be brought up in the story, other times just knowing it helps give the name meaning for you.Wish you luck with your story. Don’t hesitate to write before you have a name, if you have inspiration right now! You can often use ‘find and replace’ to update later, and they do say to strike while the iron is hot!
