I Need Help On This Ratio Question Plzz

Please help with this ratio question...please?

Consider the ratio of size order to be x:2x:3x:x

If 130 size 8's are ordered then, x=130

Thus, 3x=360.

Therefore, 360 size 12's have been ordered.

2x=260
So, if 282 size 10's are delivered then 22 (282-260) are above order.

SAT Math question i need help (about ratios) please explain.?

Hi,
Total Students (girls + boys) of Senior Class = 400
Total Students (girls + boys) of Junior Class = 300
Total students (girls + boys) of combined Senior and Junior Class = 400 + 300 = 700

Combined Senior and Junior Class:
As total girls in combined Senior and Junior Class = total boys in combined Senior and Junior Class =>
Total girls in combined Senior and Junior Class = Total boys in combined Senior and Junior Class = 700/2 = 350

Senior Class:
Ratio of boys to girls in Senior Class = 5:3
Total boys in Senior Class = total students of Senior Class x 5/(5+3) = 400 x 5/8 = 250
=> Total girls in Senior Class = total students of Senior Class x 3/(5+3) = 400 x 3/8 = 150
Check => Total girls and boys of Senior Class = 150 + 250 = 400

Junior Class:
Total Students of Junior Class = 300
Total girls of Junior Class = Total girls in combined Senior and Junior Class - girls in Senior Class = 350 - 150 = 200
Total boys of Junior Class = Total boys in combined Senior and Junior Class - boys in Senior Class = 350 - 250 = 100
Check => Total girls and boys of Jenior Class = 200 + 100 = 300
Ratio of boys to girls in Junior Class = 100:200 = 1:2

This is the required answer. Hope to answer you well. Keep smiling. Bye.

I need help with 4 ratios questions in math ! please someone?

On a true/false test, the ratio of true questions to false questions is 3 to 7. What is the ratio of true questions to total questions?

RATIOS: I NEED HELP, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!?

There isn't enough information in your question to fully answer it. You need to specify the image size in the Q6 referred to in your question.

The ratio of the image areas should be calculated as follows, where NP means number plate and WI means whole image:

NP area (in pixels) : area of WI (in pixels)
NP width x NP height : WI width x WI height
107 x 54 : WI width x WI height
5778 : WI width x WI height

You should work out WI width x WI height and then divide by 5778 to get the ratio 1:N (where N is the unknown number).

Because the whole image is bigger than the number plate image the answer will be either B, D or E (i.e. N = 37, 25 or 7).

Biology question about Mendelian ratios please help?

Monohybrid ratios vary due to:-
1.Partial dominance eg.red x white gives pink F2 ratio =1:2:1.
2.Codominance as in the case of the A B O blood groups in man where A & B are codominant but both are dominant over O.
Dihybrid ratios vary due to:-http://www.colorado.edu/MCDB/MCDB2150Fall/notes00/L0025.html
1.Linkage where the genes are on the same chromosome - these give ratios like a monohybrid cross eg. 3:1 in the F (unless there is crossing over - which causes linked genes to unlink).
2.Epistasis - is the interaction between the genes at two or more loci, so that the phenotype differs from what would be expected if the loci were expressed independently.
It gives deviation from the expected 9:3:3:1 and produces ratios of- 9:4:3, 12:3:1.
3.Complementary genes -a ratio of 9:7 is seen.

Question regarding ratios/importance...Please help!?

I am not sure how to rate these: I am supposed to assign them a number as far as "percentage important" out of 1.00. The wording is confusing and I don't understand; any help would be great!

Because of the nature of her store, Nina has decided taht the class of clientele is the most important consideration. Following this, however, she must pay attention to her expenses, and rent is a major item - probably 90 percent as important as clientele. And indoor, temperature controlled mall is a big help for stores such as hers where 70 percent of sales are from passersby slowly strolling and window shopping. Thus, she rates this as about 95 percent as important as rent. Last, a higher volume of shoppers means more potential sales; she thus rates this factor as 80 percent as important as rent.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

How can the book value, face value, and P/E ratio help to invest?

Book value tells you what assets minus liabilities is worth, what the company is worth on paper if they sold out today not in a fire sale. Face value is not really a finance term, but the closest thing would be market value. Market value is number of shares outstanding multiplied by share price. P/E ratio is the price of one share divided by last 12 month earnings.P/E, P/B and PEG ratios are used to help you invest. P/E looks at what you are paying per dollar of earnings, so higher P/Es mean the market expects higher growth. P/B is the market price/ book price and tells you the premium you are paying for future earnings. PEG combines the P/E ratio and growth rate. A PEG above 1 means the company is overvalued, HOWEVER PEG uses future projected earnings, which no one really knows. So take PEG with a pinch of salt.

What are "ratio survey" questions?

This question type asks respondents to respond in a measurable way. You’ve likely seen ratio scale questions about income, age or hours spent. Ratio scale questions have a true zero, and often times will be presented in an ordinal way with ranges. However, these ranges can still be treated as ratio responses for analysis.Example:How many hours a day do you spend on a computer?For these type of Pre-existed questions please ;.create survey here EventSurvey360 | Online Survey And Quiz Maker

Math ratio help please?

red = (5/20) * 720 = 180 mL

yellow = (3/20) * 720 = 108 mL

white = (12/20) * 720 = 432 mL

There is 72 mL more red paint than yellow paint (or 1/10
more).

You can also see in the ratio that red is 2 higher than yellow and since the total of the numbers in the ratio is 20 that means that there is (2/20) more red than yellow paint which is 1/10 or 10% and 10% of the total volume is 72 mL.

Hope this helped!

Can you help me with this physics centre of mass question?

The coordinates of the CM of a quadrant of a disc are (2R/pi,2R/pi) ( if I am wrong about this, please correct me in the comments. So you can find the centre of mass of each of 1,2,3,4. After this, just use the normal formula for centre of mass (m1x1 +m2x2 +…./m1 +m2 +m3…. And similar for y coordinate). Just keep in mind that the ratio of the masses is the ratio of their densitiesHope it helped( If somebody could tell me how to use mathematical symbols, it would be great)
