Help with baby girl name! ?
i happen to love both choices... trixie reminds me of fairies and i love that... and i love iris too because its a flower name and i really like flower names... emalynn is something i dont think i have heard before but i love it! its not all masculine like some of these girls names now a days.. i hate that Emalynn Trixie ________ Van Schaick rose jade belle mae/may rae adele elodia celeste Emalynn Iris ________ Van Schaick amora grace callie calypso francesca vivienne avanna savannah nadea (nuh-day-uh)
I hate all girls' names that end in H, do you have anything like that?
I hold a natural aversion to anything that ends in 'lin' - Evelin, Rosalin, etc. I've tried adding them to my list on previous occasions but they simply rub me the wrong way, for some peculiar reason. Same with names that begin with 'R'; Romilda, Ramona, Rebecca, Ronalda, Ruth, Roisin etc. I hate almost all of them aside from a select few. And anything that ends in 'lyn' is COMPLETELY out, aside from Evelyn and the obscure Ethelyn. I guess I'm just picky. Still, when it comes to girl names ending with 'h'... I dislike Hannah, Rebekah, Aaliyah, Alannah and Leah - off the top of my head - so maybe I too dislike girl names ending in 'h' And I've just now realised while writing this that I tend to steer clear of girl names ending in 'a' as well! Out of the 20 girl names on my list (middle names included) only 5 end in 'a' and out of those 5, 3 are middle names! See, I learn something new every day! ^_^
I need help with a new baby name..boys name for a girl!!?
BUT--If you don't like boys names for girls please do no bother telling me that...to each his own...I am looking for honest help from people who may agree with my name choices. Not looking for some speech from someone who thinks they should have a say in my decision. Thanks anyway!! OK SO--I am looking for a boys name for a girl...I am tired of the millions of Rileys, Ryans, Taylors, Charlies, etc. I am looking for something slightly more unique but not too weird either...also not ALL boy. I grew up with a boys name and I never disliked it...People always thought it was so neat!! My first daughter also has a boys name...and we love it! If you can come up with something new--Please let me know!! I appreciate all of your help!!

Do you think the name Malia will become popular now?
I am 8 months pregnant and looking for a baby girl name. Since we are Muslim our choices are very limited. I was just watching TV and heard of the name "Malia", name of Barrack's daughter. I went to look up the name and found out that it's an Hawaiian or Philipino name. I tried different spellings and came up with Maleeha or Maliha in Arabic. I love that name! But now I was just thinking, that the name Malia, might become VERY popular now. And I would hate that. I like my children to have a unique, uncommon name. So, what do you think? Do you think that name will become popular, now that he has became our president?
