If anybody has any suggestions and no don't be rude with why are you wasting your time asking a stupid question. I know some girl asked a question about if she should wear makeup because she's just going out to do a little shopping and everybody said no you should just be natural and then somebody had to comment saying why r u wasting ur time asking a stupid question so I'm just somebody that doesn't know much about computers but wants a gaming computer &doesn't know what to buy but I would like it to be less than $600 but I don't know what to get I saw lots of good computers that were less than 600 but they were 4GB. when I saw stuff tht was 6 or 8GB I wasnt sure if they were the right ones bc I don't know what all I need. Help find Total Profit Cost and break-even point?

An electronics company is planning on introducing a new line of computers. For the first year, the fixed costs for setting up the production line are $100,000. The variable costs for creating each computer are $35. The revenue from each computer is $55

Q: Find the total profit P(x) from the production and sale of x computers and the break-even point

I understand that p(x)= r(x)-c(x), but i feel that p(x)= 55(x)-100035 is the wrong answer

How much should I spend on a gaming laptop for my son? Would $800 be enough to ensure that it would have the resources to play just about any game?

First off, make sure your son actually needs a laptop; desktop computers have more bang-for-buck value when it comes to computer hardware, and you can usually find a faster desktop than laptop for $800. Another advantage Desktops have is that they can be upgraded in the future, whereas a laptop is almost always non-upgradable. Do have a place in your house where you can setup a desktop PC for your son? If you can imagine the laptop staying in one place for a while, buy a desktop. Even if your son wants a laptop to go to friends houses with, there are gaming desktop PCs that are small and easy to carry that can still be more powerful for a lesser price than a laptop.Second, whether your son is still going for a laptop or a desktop, have him do some research into computer hardware. What's a graphics card? What's a CPU? What's RAM? It sounds taxing to research these kinda of things, but they will help you a lot when choosing a computer, as your son will be able to read the specs of the computer and know what he is looking at power wise.Third, if you are wanting a desktop PC, you might have to either buy and then upgrade an office PC or just flat out build one from scratch. I advise you and your son do research into this as it is a very fun and rewarding process. Knowing your way around the inside of a PC can also allow you to get some sick deals; if you know what to look for, you can buy a computer with a decent processor for $200 on eBay, buy a budget graphics card for $150, and combine the two to have a gaming PC for the same price as a console.Good luck!PS: don't buy a Mac. Macs can play games, but they aren't priced well around the hardware.

Asus K40IN Decent for games?

Your best bet for gaming is to build your own custom desktop computer. They are very cheap and you can build them to process and do what you want them to do. If you want the fact that you can transport it than look at this site for cheaper laptops -

http://www.newegg.com/

This site is great for both building your own desktop PC and finding a cheap laptop that will last you and allow you to play source half-life mods. Bioshock on the other hand...i am not too sure that computer would be able to support, from what i understand the graphics on that game are very...in-detail.
