I dont know how to wear makeup. i need help....?
ok what make up looks good? i want a natural look. what should i buy? my hair is dark brown and so are my eyes which are small. my skin is almost like my avatar. i jsut want to have a nice glow and pretty eyes. please give some suggestions..

you should search youtube. there is a whole section for makeup tutorials! girls recommend brands and show you how they put it on. there is everything from 13-year-old girls in their basements but also professionals sponsered by makeup companies. just type in your features (brown eyes for example) and makeup tutorial. also like ally said places like the body shop, sephora, MAC, etc. do makeovers for FREE. it's awesome. i would try all those places (just not on the same day!) just ask about a makeover and ask them how it works. or ask them if they can show you how to use eyeliner, or what colour eyeshadow you should wear, what time of mascara, etc. etc... my suggestions: gold or bronze; purple; green. black is always good too ;) good luck cutie!

Hi! I KNOW you're older than me, but i LOVE make-up so here's my advise...start out with... Masqara-but DONT overdo it...or else clumpy lashes :( so try just stroking the very tips and it'll look really natural and pretty! Concealer-to hide those zits (every1 gets them) and it seems sooo natural, but you have to remember one thing, it has GOT to be your skin color or it looks like you're trying to be someone you're not. I like concealer over foundation because its not ALL OVER your face...that just makes me feel icky :( Blush-is cute! If youre pale, go with a lighter color, and if youre dark go darker...the only thig about blush is You gotta be careful not to put too much on Foundation-since youre starting out, i would say you dont need it...its just a hassle...you have to put it on your whole face which is time consuming and i dont really like putting anything all over my face :) so if i were you i'd save till next year...but if you REALLy want to, theres nothing wrong with that, but remember to blend well!!! I always catch people with non blended faces and its...ugg! Oh, and if youre stuck between two shades, go with the lighter one! Lips- well people innmy grade love the bath and body works or sephora lip gloss, so id suggest that...if prices are too high, just get one from cvs! Hi okay I am almost 18 years old and ever since I was 15 I've been into dying my hair trying on makeup the basic eyeliner and mascara lip gloss blush etc. now that I'm older I do smokey eyes, I wear smokey eye everyday, lots of thick mascara, I dress dressy every day, nails always painted. My hair is naturally dark dark brown almost black, throughout the years I've alway lightened it and now I finally got it blonde. I have dark brown eyes and dark brown eye brows, blonde hair skinny and 5'3. I spend every minute of the day in front of any mirror I can get my hands on. Throughout the day I'm always checking/fixing my makeup atleast 6 times a day, I'm fan I go to tanning salons, when I look at people I feel like why do they look like that like they can do things to make themselves look better. I spend so much money on bronzers/mascaras/eyeshadows. Im obsessed with my looks and I can't help it. I currently have a boyfriend of one year; and everyone always makes comments on why I'm with him because I'm so pretty and gorgeous & he's not. It kills me because I don't care about looks like I love him for his personality. People think I'm concieted because I like to dress up everyday and wear makeup, but I'm not. And my boyfriend wants me to go swimming with him for the first time because I never swam with him before because it's summer now but I REFUSE because I'm not getting my hair/makeup wet. Idont look good without it all!!! I need help! What can I do to stop thinking about my looks and just have fun with my life! Why am I like this?!!!! Any comments or anything please write it, just nothing too mean please! I' also don't go outside because my hair and makeup will melt off cuz of the heat, I go to tanning beds even in the summer. No I'm not orange either I have olive skin and Italian. I'm brown. HELP SOMEONE

I have a wedding to attend and I need help with makeup, I'm wearing dark green. Do you have any ideas on how I should do my makeup?
A gold or bronze eyeshadow would probably work well. Neutral brown in the crease, a little bit darker on the outer edge, and then pat a bit of gold in the centre, and champagne on the inner corner. If I was doing this for myself, I would use the colours in my Cargo Cosmetics Emerald City palette — if you look at pictures of it, you’ll see what I mean. (Space Needle and Ferry in the crease, a little bit of Coffee in the outer corner and the outer third of the lower lash line, either Pier 52 or Lake Union in the centre of the eye, and Northwest on the inner corner.)I would probably go for a nude-ish lip. Not early 2000s concealer-lip nude, but something warm and rosy. Picking at random out of my collection again, I am forever faithful to Maybelline Matte Ink in 65/Seductress. On my very pale skin, it’s the perfect ‘your lips but better’ situation, and seriously stays all day through eating and drinking. If I wanted something a little bit bolder, 130/Self-Starter from the same range. I would stay away from red, since coupled with green it might look a bit Christmassy.And waterproof mascara! You’re at a wedding — it’s 100% necessary.

Do I need to wear makeup for special events?
Simply put, no. There isn’t someone who is going to throw you in jail for not wearing makeup.However, most women do tend to wear makeup to special events. Why? It helps them look more polished and put together. Now obviously you shouldn’t go overboard like a YouTube beauty personality, but a little bit will go a long way to presenting a nicer image at a special event.I would suggest a light application of concealer under the eyes to brighten and a bit of powder to set it and even out your skin tone. Maybe use a bit of blush in a pale pink or other flattering color for a faint flush. Some mascara and a lipstick a shade or two darker than your natural lip.Again, you don’t have to but it will look very nice with little effort.
