I need help with Kik Messenger for Android/ Iphone?

I sent a message to one of my friends and the message has a "D and a check mark" beside it.

I know there is a difference between a faded D and a black D in the messenger...but i can't tell if it is faded or not.

The check is black and the D looks a little bit lighter than the check but idk if my eyes are tricking me or not.

How can i tell? Thanks

I need help with my Alcatel Onetouch Fierce 2 Android phone :c?

*I'll try to be as specific as possible*
I had a couple of problems with my phone - first my incoming messages always lagged and came in at once about an hour later after my contacts sent it (I know this because the receiving times was displayed underneath), so I looked up a solution, which was to check for system updates. I had one available, so I downloaded it, and after it was finished, I got a message saying that I won't be able to use the phone for 10 minutes while it is installing, so I let it be for about 15 mins. Then a black screen with the little android figure lying down looking sick popped up, with red captions saying that there was an error and the installment was aborted. For options up at the top there was language, so I selected English, and then other options came up. Honestly I had no idea what those other options were, so I selected reboot phone, and restarted. However, it is not turning on completely, it goes to the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce 2 screen, then to the metroPCS screen, but never fully to my home screen.

The phone cannot be recognized by a computer through USB connection, I tried holding down the power button, which all it does is restart and take me back to that screen, and also tried taking out the battery for a few minutes. Is there any other solution(s) to this? Please help, I don't think I can afford a new phone ;-;

Need advice on my android phone sd card?

I am a first time owner of an android phone. The problem started just 3 days ago, about a month after I got the phone. My entire photo collection in the album just disappeared, I can't play any of my videos at all. And when I tried to view pictures sent to me by my friends in Whatsapp, this message came out : Sorry, this media file doesn't exist on your SD card. I don't know what to do now. I need some advice on this. Thank you.

What skills will I need to develop my first Android application and what are the resources to learn those skills?

If you want to create a simple app without actual text-programming, you can use MIT App Inventor. However, to really program an Android app, you need to learn two things: Java Programming and the Android framework. You can try learning Java with a book, but I think it you should use interactive tutorials, such as  my site: Learn Programming with Java. It also help to have a mentor to ask questions too or get feedback. Not everyone can get a  professional programmer mentoring them all day, but I'm launching an online bootcamp to provide regular help and feedback: Learneroo Bootcamp. Before learning Android, you'll want to get used to a an IDE, the program programmers use to program. The old standard for Android was Eclipse, but now there's also Android Studio / IntelliJ IDEA: Java IDE. You'll then need to learn how to use the Android framework. If you've gotten good at programming, you can now use the official Android tutorials to learn Android: Getting Started | Android Developers. If you want a book that doesn't just rephrase the official resources, you can get Programming Android: Java Programming for the New Generation of Mobile Devices. If you need more tutorials, you can check Android Development or Udemy if you prefer video.
