I need help on my biology hw!!!!!!!!!!?

1. During the second stage of cellular respiration, pyruvate enters the __________________ where ATP will be produced.

2. In the absence of oxygen, instead of aerobic respiration following glycolysis, glycolysis is followed by___________

3.

The phosphate "tail" of an ATP molecule is unstable because the bonds between the phosphate group are strong.

4.During aerobic respiration, the breakdown of a molecule of glucose yields a net of two molecules of ATP

5. Lactic acid fermentation is a type of anaerobic process.

6. Heterotrophs obtain the chemical energy used in metabolism from autotrophs or from other heterotrophs.

7. ATP is a portable form of "energy currency" inside cells.

heres a problem i need help on.

I need some help with my biology side show?

After protein synthesis, proteins are released into the lumen of the ER, where is it modified. ER vesicles containing the proteins will fuse with the cis-Golgi structures. Then, the protein travels through the Golgi complex, from cis-Golgi to the medial Golgi, and finally to the trans-Golgi part of the Golgi complex. Each region contains different enzymes to modify the proteins further. Examples of modification include glycosylation and phosphorylation.

Then, the protein is packaged into vesicles that bud off from the Golgi, and are moved to the cell surface. The vesicles fuse with the cell surface so that the protein contents are released.

I need some extreme help with my biology?

The mRNA code would be the complement. The tRNA would be the complement of the mRNA (which would be the DNA but with Uracil instead of Thymine). I'm not sure about the other two parts of the question.

tRNA: GGGCUUCUUUUU

Good Luck! God Bless!

I need help with my biology home work like now...how can transposons alter gene expression?

Transposons are the "jumping genes" that cut and paste out of genomes. The cutting part is not exact, and can actually take some "extras" out of a genome. If a transposon jumps into the middle of a gene, it can alter it. On the other hand, if there was a transposon already in the gene, and it gets cut out, the transposon can actually take parts of the gene. This leads to a shorter gene after the transposon leaves.

I need help with my biology questions please?

Independent assortment of chromosomes occurs in metaphase 1 of meiosis (it is a random alignment of chromosome pairs).

The value is that the resulting gametes have a different combination of alleles and so this results in variation.

Can someone help me with my Biology Homework?

ANSWER is: a. increaseEXPLANATION :As the blood travels through the inferior vena cava into the right atrium, the amount of CO2 present in the blood will increase. As the inferior and superior vena cava will bring blood which is oxygen poor from the body into the right atrium. The pulmonary artery will channel oxygen-poor and carbon dioxide rich blood from the right ventricle into the lungs. And the pulmonary veins will bring oxygen-rich blood to the left atrium. You can visit General Biology Questions, Advanced Biology Questions, Students Homework HelpThey solve general queries of a person, student's homework help, textbook solutions and all related queries...You can pose your query there and can also see answers of the users who asked questions.
