I Need Help With My Duelshock 3 Controler.

How can I get better aim with Dualshock 4 controller?

It depends what game you’re playing and at the same time it doesn’t. Every game is different in terms of its aiming capabilities. What every game shares is that they all need some level of practice.FE: I play Rainbow Six Siege on the PS4. I practice my aim by playing casual games nearly every day and because of that, it’s allowed me to rank up from a Copper IV to a Platinum I. This definitely didn’t happen over night. With that said, R6S gunfights revolve around headshots. Which means that unlike some games such as Battlefield and COD, one shot to the head is all it takes. Someone that has good aim is someone that can react fast enough to pull the trigger as well as have familiarity with their controls (meaning their X and Y sensitivity) in order to “flick” onto their enemy’s head and get the kill. All you need is practice. There’s certain controller mods you can attach to your control which supposedly help you control your aim better but I don’t believe in those things. In the end, in comes down to how much effort you want to put in to practice your aim

Is there any way to change the dead zone on a DualShock 3 controller (I'm using it on a PC)?

How to Calibrate Your Gaming Controller in Windows 10I’m assuming windows 10. That’s how you calibrate a Controller…as far as allowing for more deadzone or less you’d need a piece of software to permit it.These guys talk about it Universally Increase DEADZONE on Joysticks?? :: Hardware and Operating SystemsGood Luck!

PS3 Controllers: SIXAXIS vs Dualshock 3?

Dualshock 3 is better. It has the RUMBLE FUNCTION as well as the SIXAXIS FUNCTION.

SIXAXIS life lasts a bit longer than Dualshock 3 life because the SIXAXIS doesn't have a RUMBLE FUNCTION which means it has really not much battery to use on. But you can always charge it via USB cable to Ps3 when battery runs out.

DualShock 3 are heavier because it has the Rumble machine inside the controller.

SIXAXIS are made of a cheap plastic too. If you hold a SIXAXIS and feel it, you will hear a squeaky sound coming from the controller. Because its made of a cheap plastic.

However on Dualshock 3 its made of a high quality plastic. If you feel it, you won't hear any squeaky sound. Because its made of high quality equipment.

--------------------------------------...

And if you look at a SIXAXIS controller and put a light on it. You will see the inside of it. ( Kinda like translucent )

But on Dualshock 3 you won't see the inside of it which is good because you feel like its worth the price.

Here in New Zealand Dualshock 3 controllers costs $109 while SIXAXIS controllers costs $99. With that $10 difference I would rather buy a Dualshock 3 if I were you.

And if you have a PSN ( Playstation Network ) add me!

Battlefield 4 PS3 Controller or the DualShock 3 PS3 Urban Camouflage Controller. Please read and help?

My B'Day comes up soon and I'm planning to get something for my B'Day. In a previous question I had asked whether I should get a ds4, n control avenger elite adapter for the ps3 controller or the battlefield 4 ps3 controller. I have planned to get the battlefield 4 ps3 controller for my ps3. But now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. I also like the DualShock 3 Urban Camoflauge controller for the ps3. Can someone help me out and tell me which one should I get.
P.S. I mostly play FPS like BF4 and COD sometimes.
Cheers in advance.

Can I steer by tilting the controller ( Dual Shock 3 ) in PS3 games?

Is there a difference between a DualShock Analog Controller and a Sony PlayStation Analong Controller?

If you have a PlayStation 2 (that you bought new), then you have a DualShock Controller. The difference between the PlayStation One DualShock Controller and the PlayStation 2 ones is that the PlayStation 2 one has pressure sensitivity on the buttons, meaning that harder you hold it down, the harder the response on the game (on some games, i.e. if you throw an item across the screen, how far it will go will depend on how hard you press on the button).

-DualShocks are made by Sony, so there only difference would be if you had gotten a digital controller, which are now obsolete. You want to beware of the ones not made by Sony unless there is a sticker certifying it.

Would you buy Logitech F710 or DualShock 3 for a PC (controller)?

DS3 and F710 are quite different from each other, I mostly use a DS4, but I had extensively played on a PS3 and used DS3 as well as the F710 for PC. (I would recommend the DualShock 4 if possible, the touch bar on it can also function as a mouse using the DS4Windows application and required drivers.) F710 has very stiff triggers, making it feel terrible for racing games and shooters, it has good face buttons and analog sticks though. It is very very sturdy and can take a lot of abuse if you are a gamer who tends to rage (like me). It is more convenient as it directly uses Xinput and does not need any external software for the controller to work properly. It uses AA batteries (which are included in the box) and has a pretty decent battery life, up to 30 hours of prolonged use in my experience, though it can’t be recharged. The D-pad is very loose, enabling you to actually use it more comfortably for games with tank controls like the older Resident Evil games, shoulder buttons are clicky. DS3 has pretty decent triggers, it is also a little lighter than the F710, the face buttons are that of a PlayStation console so it will not match the Xbox buttons used in Xinput for windows, if you are experienced with both a PlayStation and Xbox controller configuration, you should have no problems. Analog sticks are of amazing quality, the shoulder buttons are soft and not clicky like an Xbox controller. It does not come with a wireless adapter, your PC must support Bluetooth for the controller to work wirelessly, but it should fine over USB. You need external software to use a DS3 on Windows as it is not supported by most games on PC.I personally would pick a DS3 over the F710, hope I was of some help.

How durable are the DualShock 4 controllers? Roughly how long do I have before one breaks on me?

I’ve had my PS4 for more than 2 years now and never had a controller break. Sometimes the thumbsticks degrade or become sticky a little bit, but they are replaceable, and you can get thumbstick covers like KontrolFreeks to eliminate this problem if you need to. Amusingly, Xbox One thumbsticks are a viable replacement if you need one, and they seem to be a lot more hard-wearing from my experience.

Does a Japanese PS3 dualshock 3 controller work with American PS3's?

Yes they work fine. The only time you will come past that problem is with foreign games. Japanese controllers are better anyway. They have cooler colors. I got my white PS3 controller from Japan.
