Need Help with Newton's Laws?

So as I work on my homework, I got most of it except one problem. I just don't know how to approach it.

"A 2.75x10^6*N catapult jet plane is ready for takeoff. If the jet's engines supply a constant thrust of 6.35x10^6*N, how much runway will it need to reach it's minimum takeoff speed of 285 Km/h?"

Can someone please show me the steps necessary in solving this problem? Thank you!

I need help on geometry homework, please, I'm sure its very easy just not for me.?

The "little" lines are each one millimeter. Remember in the metric system, 10 mm = 1 cm (easy to write as decimals)

13) 3.8 mm ---->because it is 3 whole mm and then 8 parts

14) same deal: 33 mm

15) is in inches. See how the medium length lines are darker? And that they divide the inch into 4 parts? The total length of the key is one full inch and then one-fourth, so the answer is "1 1/4 inch"

Precision is just how detailed the value is. I don't know for certain what type of answer they are looking for because I've not seen the rest of your chapter! I'm guessing they want something like the following:

16) inches: 80 inches Accurate to a "whole inch" (It's also another way to write 6 ft 8 in)

17) accurate to the nearest millimeter
18) accurate to the nearest 1/2 inch
....etc...

22 - 33: want you to solve distance problems when given part of the information

22) given that AB=16.7mm and BC= 12.8 mm, AC = AB + BC
= 16.7mm + 12.8 mm (you can do the math!)

23) XY = 1/2 YZ = 3/4 so XZ = 1/2 + 3/4 (add fractions)

24) They give you the total length, you find the part missing:
PR = 2 1/4 PQ = 5/16 so QR = PR - PQ = 2 1/4 - 5/16

25) same deal: RT = 4 cm RS = 1.2 cm so ST = RT - RS = 4 - 1.2

26) WY = 4.8 WX = XY (that is what the red marks tell you) so 1/2 of 4.8 will be the length of WX and of XY 4.8/2

27) same deal, but divide by 3
For 28 - 33, it is the same type of thing but without illustrations:

RS + ST = RT

28) RT = 76 RS = 7a ST = 12a so 7a + 12a = 76
7a + 12a = 76
19a = 76
19a/19 = 76/19
a = 4 --->now plug 4 in for a:
RS = 7a = 7*4 = 28 ST = 12a = 12*4 = 48

All the rest will go the same way:
29) 2x + 12 = 34
30) 2x + 3x = 25
31) 2x + 16 = 5x + 10
32) 3y + 1 + 2y = 21
33) 4y - 1 + 2y - 1 = 5y

Physics one homework deals with force please help?

After a skiing accident, your leg is in a cast and supported in a traction device, as shown in Figure 6-27. Find the magnitude of the force F exerted by the leg on the small pulley. (By Newton's third law, the small pulley exerts an equal and opposite force on the leg.) Let the mass m be 4.00 kg, and the angle be 31.0°.

Would it be illegal to do someone's homework?

One of the biggest questions floating around students is whether or not it is illegal to pay to have your homework done. Is it illegal? The answer is NO. In fact, there are many places where you can go and pay to have your homework done. One option is to go to google it. One example is Cheapestessay.com. It is the most recommended website for homework/assignment services. You set the price you are willing to pay and the guidelines and they will assign writers who can do it for you.Although it is not illegal the next question is whether or not paying for homework is ethical and moral. Since morality is subjective the only person who can answer this question is the one who wants to buy the homework. However, schools do not take plagiarism lightly. Paying for homework is considered cheating on many different levels in the eyes of an educational institution. If you are caught paying for homework you will face some serious consequences.
