I need help with writing a summary of 130 words or so?

Here is my summary of Oliver Twist, but if you need to add more you can:

During the summer of 1999, I have chosen to read the book, Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. Reading this book will better prepare me for my upcoming course of global studies because it deals with many of the regions and time periods we will be studying in class. Although this book was a classic that I thought I had known so much about, reading it and paying attention to the setting and surroundings of the young boy's life, I noticed many historical events and customs from his time period. The following is a report including the answers to the questions provided for my summer reading program.

The story begins with a woman giving birth to a baby without the proper instruments necessary and dies. The boy is brought up in a dirty home with little to eat and under poor conditions. No one knows of the boy's identity. His government caretakers give him the name Oliver. Oliver grows up in a world with no sympathy for poor orphans. He goes to London to escape his mean guardians and to try to make a better life for himself. On his journey he is mixed up with thieves and is caught stealing even though it was the people he was with. He gets sick and is taken care of by the people who he originally stole from and they grow to love him. The thieves find out about him staying with the people and kidnap him. More stealing takes place and Oliver is trained to be a better thief. One time, during a robbery, Oliver is shot and left for dead by the thieves. The people at the house Oliver was to rob took him in and gave him a home. Oliver's identity is found. It turns out that Oliver was supposed to receive an inheritance from his father and one of the people who got him caught knew this. After confessing, Oliver received his inheritance and lived a happy life from then on.

Good luck

Write a summary of the structures of DNA? HELP!?

The structure of DNA is illustrated by a right handed double helix, with about 10 nucleotide pairs per helical turn. Each spiral strand, composed of a sugar phosphate backbone and attached bases, is connected to a complementary strand by hydrogen bonding (non- covalent) between paired bases, adenine (A) with thymine (T) and guanine (G) with cytosine (C).

How do you write a resume summary?

With a little time and consideration, writing a summary for your resume should be fairly straight forward. It’s basically your ‘elevator pitch,’ and an extension of your career objective[1], something you could rattle off if you happened to bump into a prospective hiring manager in an elevator.[2] What do you do and what is it that you’re looking for? Answer these questions in a succinct and concise way on paper and you’ll likely have yourself an excellent resume summary.Short yet succintIf you answer the question, “tell me about yourself,” you’ll likely include the correct type of information in your resume summary. It should include a title and a few lines of text and you may like to list the information using bullet points. Keeping it short and succinct is critical as experts agree that recruiters only spend a matter of seconds gauging whether a candidate is suitable or not based on the content of their resume, including their summary.Think of the job descriptionBy aligning your summary with the job requirements as listed by the job advertisement, you can target your approach in a way that will greatly benefit your application. Also refrain from using “I” and “we” statements, because your summary should be selling the things that you can do for the employer, not the other way around.Zone in on your key qualificationsA strong and successful resume summary will include 2-3 professional traits that will make you a good fit for the job as well as the number of years of experience you’ve gained in that profession or other relevant work experience. You may also wish to highlight 2-3 outstanding accomplishments you’ve achieved for previous employers.Do all of this and you’ll have yourself a winning resume summary! For more info you can also see some resume summaries in action with the resume examples at Velvet Jobs (Resume Samples & Examples).Best of luck with your job search.Footnotes[1] Why You Should Ditch The Career Objective on Your Resume[2] The Art of Writing a Great Resume Summary Statement

Please Help!! How to write a good book summary?!?

A summary can best be done by answering who, what, when, where, why, and how in a logical order; you won't always use the order I wrote down. You might have to write a couple of summaries before you find the most logical order.

Here's an example of a summary I might write about Lord of the Flies: (I listed the parts of the summary in parentheses so you could see them at work).

In William Golding's Book, Lord of the Flies, the author tells the story of a group of children (the who) who become stranded on an island (the where) after the plane they were traveling on crashes (the why). After a series of tragic events, the two groups segregate into two warring factions. Ultimately, many are killed, and the island itself is nearly destroyed (the what) before they are rescued (how they escape).

I didn't mention the "when" in the summary because it isn't very important to the novel. In the Outsiders, it might be a tad more important. The "when" can easily be answered with something as simple as "During the 1950s..." as one example.

Write a summary of the following passage.?

The great advantage of early rising is the good start it gives us in our day's work. The early rise manages to do a large amount of good works before other people have got out of bed. In the early morning the mind is fresh and there are few sounds on other distractions. by taking exercise in the morning air, the early riser gets a fund of energy which lasts till the evening. All the work gets finished in good times. He is able to go to bed much before midnight. He gets enough time to rest and is fresh when he gets of again.
