Richard's wife was discovered to have Alzheimer's so she took part in the trial. Meredith rigged the trial so that she got the medicine which is against the law and could ruin both hers and Derek's careers. Another truth is Taylor Swift is 5'7 and when they were out together he was an inch shorter.
