Can someone please help me with these simple math questions? I have the answers, I just need help figuring out the steps to get the answer.?

#1. Dr Z can see any one of the 14 patients first; any one of the remaining 13 second; any one of the remaining 12 will be third; etc. So the total number of ways he can choose, and order, the six who will be seen, is:
14*13*12*11*10*9. That comes out to 2162160. When I typed it into the Google calculator, what I actually typed was "14!/8!" (without the quotation marks).

#2. The total number of juniors in the survey who have a GPA of 2.5 or better is 189 + 172 = 361 . The total number of survey participants is 697, so there must be 697 - 361 = 336 whose GPA is less than 2.5. That's 336 out of 697.

#3. If you copied the question in its entirety, the answer given makes no sense. The correct answer would be (8 cos(150), 8 sin(150)) = (-4,sqrt(3)/4). Well, maybe you accidentally typed a comma where a slash " / " should have been...or maybe your book misprinted the slash as a comma.

What are some alternatives to Google Consumer Surveys?

It depends on what you are looking for.Are you B2B, B2C, or B2B2C?There are number of platforms to reach people online:Social media polls (most likely limited to the audience of people you are connected to)Google PPC ads (expensive, and no guarantee that people who click will finish the survey)Survey platforms - online, email, 3rd party web site, mobileAs for the last one: it all depends on what you are looking for, who you want to survey, how you will reach them, the frequency, the survey design and types of questions you want to ask, as well as the reporting you are looking for.Do you want to survey new audiences, or an existing one? What population & sample size are you looking for?Do you want to match a specific population in terms of age/gender?How many questions do you want to ask? Will you require survey logic, or branching?Do you want a report visualization, the ability to filter results by demographics, question or age?All of these will determine the type of platform you are looking for - and of course, cost is a factor as well. There are many different types of survey tools with various costs and levels of sophistication.Google Consumer Surveys recruits respondents online by creating "gateways" Their limitations are reach, and time to complete the study, only serve a US audience ,and are limited on the number of questions you can ask.If you want to reach users where they are most accessible, and most likely to take survey you will want to reach them on their mobile device.
