It is impossible to pick 10 songs from 1000's of songs..For every emotion (or every situation for that matter ) there is an Ilaiyaraja song... So here's my pick in absolutely random order(After reading all the amazing answers, I am forced to pick the ones that aren't mentioned to avoid repetition (Sigh!!)):1. Oru iniya manadhu- Johnny ( Vocals.. Check.. Lyrics check.. Feel.. Double check)2. En Kanmani Un Kaadhali - Chittukuruvi ( A breezy duet by SPB and P.Susheela.. The 'bus song' in my opinion)3. The lyrics are out-of-this-world, the rhythm is extremely enticing, and the lyrics are impeccable. So what if it’s a long song? It still is one of the most awesome Rock songs out there. The transition from slow, acoustic rock to the high tempo hard Rock is just too good to be true. I’m not sure, but when Led Zeppelin first performed this song live, the number of people attending the concert was more than any other.“Stairway To Heaven” is a song from Led Zeppelin’s untitled album (Often called “Led Zeppelin IV“). It was released in 1971, and it completely changed the perspective of Rock forever. It is still considered to be one of the best Rock songs ever. Throughout the song, the acoustic guitar and the lead guitar (Jimmy Page) completely captivate one’s mind. The sudden transition from the mellow acoustic guitar to the electric guitar (Or the double guitar, which Page used) is really awesome. Or one which does not make you listen to it over and over !Well, the most recent song for me; I'll certainly go with Something Just Like This by Coldplay and The Chainsmokers.Coldplay, is one of the best artists in my opinion. The songs, the instrumental music, everything is perfect. And this song takes you to places you never been before.I would also like to share my all-time favorites. Yay !Sad Beautiful Tragic by Taylor Swift. This song sounds sad and tragic and it is beautiful. It was released with the Red album, but it always felt like it did not get that much popular like the others in the album. Maybe because it does not have a song video with it. I wish there was !Beautiful Now by Zedd. The song's beat break : Bah Bah Bah Bababah Bah Bah… ; oh, this is so great. You never get tired singing it alongwith the tune. And the music video released with it which intertwines five different stories together, is amazing. Again the music, the tunes, the beats, the lyrics take you to another place. The song kind of suggests finding happiness even during dark times.“But it's so easy in this blueWhere everything is good”Ink by Coldplay. There is a fan cut video to it which has been made official.
