Long island to Buffalo NY (cheaply)?
My brother-in-law goes from Albany to Buffalo by train every time (to see family) to save money and aggravation. The bus makes so many long stops, but when the train stops, it is just to let people on and off, and the ride is much smoother. I would recommend the train. I rode a Greyhound from Texas to Pennsylvania once, and it was murder. One the other hand, I rode a train from West Chester, PA to Philly another time, and it was great.
