I Physically Need Plastic Surgery

What plastic surgery should I get for my ugly face?

First off--the reasons why I want plastic surgery

-I never want to be rejected again
-I take rejection personally. I get upset whenever a girl says "no"
-I'm a 32 year old virgin that's never kissed a girl.
-I've never been on a date.
-I'm very depressed about never having a girlfriend. I cry every night and I have to drink alcohol in order to pass out and stop crying.
-I want to receive compliments and get hit on.
-I approached a girl in a bar in Beverly Hills and she told me "I did not pay $4000 for these implants to talk to ugly guys like you"
-Every single woman on this planet wants to have sex with Brad Pitt and he's had plastic surgery.
-I want my friends to be jealous of me for a change. They brag about the hunderds of 1 nite stands they had from girls they meet at bars.

So, look at my avatar, or my 360 page, and tell me what changes must I make to my face.

Please be kind. I hate getting rude comments. They do hurt and i feel suicidal when I read them.

How much would plastic surgery like this cost?

Surgery abroad is normally less expensive than in the states (not sure where you reside).

See the link below for approximate cost of surgery in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

http://www.aperfectme.com

The cost of a procedure (except for liposuction) does not normally vary on the area being operated on, rather it is a set fee, so a big nose would cost the same as a smaller nose, etc.

As for cosmetic surgery itself, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and don;t let jealous people tell you otherwise. If there was something in your character or health, etc., that wasn't up to par and that bothered you, you'd fix it. It should be the same way physically. If you have the money to have plastic surgery, if your expectations are reasonable, if you are not doing it with the thought that it will keep a relations hp, a job, etc., and you are basically doing it for your own self-esteem, then 'more power to you'.

All the best.

Is plastic surgery a bad idea?

I'm 16 years old and Korean American. This is going to sound shallow, but I've been considering plastic surgery. Please don't give me the "everyone is beautiful in their own way" bullcrap. I know from personal experience that there are certain standards for what people consider pretty. For as long as I can remember, my family members have criticized the fact that I have mono lidded Asian eyes and a flatter nose. On the other hand, my sister is considered very pretty with her large, double lidded eyes and high, pointy nose. And it's not just our family. Random strangers (mostly middle aged Asian women) have come up to my sister to tell her she is extremely pretty, while nobody says anything to me. I know it sounds shallow but it's been making me miserable that my parents have been encouraging me to get plastic surgery and the thing is, I think I might actually need it. The only thing I'm scared of is the pain and possible health problems that I might be overlooking. Is plastic surgery a bad idea? Preferably, someone who has experience or personally knows someone who has had experience, please answer.

Plastic surgery in islam???????????

Whether plastic surgery is considered right or wrong in Islam, is purely circumstantial. Sad to say, with the need for artificial enhancements that has become such a rapidly spreading trend (lifestyle?) for parts of the world, one can't help but think about how materialistic and vain people have become. While Islam tells us to cover our aurat, there are those out there that spend thousands of dollars to enlarge, reduce, tuck, suck, etc God's wonderful and unique creations. And for what purpose are these enhancements because breast enhancements (for example) are usually not done so they can be shielded under long robed outfits. We've all seen those eye-popping breasts that test the mercy of the skin and we know the sins that lie within the intentions of the surgery. Here, plastic surgery goes against the beliefs and teachings of Islam. The 'beautification' is a sin, because altering part of one's body demonstrates a dissatisfaction towards what He has given you.

However, in your friend's case, I would say it is essential, as to lessen the burden of the physical and emotional after-effects of such a traumatic incident. Plastic surgery performed in the name of health and survival, I believe, is acceptable in God's eyes. I hope everything goes well for your friend. She will be in my prayers.

Ways to raise money for plastic surgery?

I think that your surgery could be considered reconstructive more than cosmetic, so you could see with your insurance coverage, maybe they cover it, you can read more about that here http://www.aestheticandplastic.com/before-your-surgery/insurance.html

Besides that, things that you can do will depend on your skills, being on a weelchair doesn't mean that you can't be usefull, a friend who is in a weelchair also is earning more than me working on his computer, so cheer up and go for it.

All the best!!

Should people get plastic surgery?

I feel Plastic surgery is being used synonymous with cosmetic or aesthetic surgery. While aesthetic surgery is the most profitable part of Plastic surgery, it is just a subset of total number of Plastic surgeries done worldwide. I would hazard to guess that only 10% of plastic surgeries are cosmetic in nature globally. Rest of them have actual medical indications for it. I also see that Plastic Surgery has a negative connotation in the general public and even on Quora. I've had quite a lot of people on Quora telling me things like: "There's nothing honorable about plastic surgery, don't pride yourself over it"That is rather unfortunate behavior because aesthetic surgery accounts for a very small part of my practice. I treat patients who have real medical problems like cancer, infection, facial fractures, functional deficits, etc. The right to look like a normal person who has had some part of his body removed/injured due to cancer/ trauma/ infection / senility is just as important as a heart surgery or cataract surgery. Imagine facing people without an eye or part of your face disfigured or burned. You need people taking care of this stuff. If you really want to learn more about plastic surgery and my specialty Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, you can read some of my previous answers below:Raghuraj S.
