I Poked My Finger With A Shirt Collar Pin At This Department Store

I poked my finger with a shirt collar pin at this department store?

I was at this department store and while I was browsing through the men's shirts looking for a specific size I suddenly poked my finger with one of those pins used for men's dress shirts, on the collars, It was not a big deal until I saw a drop of my blood falling on the floor and then there were more drops of blood that were already dry, So i freaked out and I realized that more people had the same incident like me. I saw a bunch of other shirts that had pins on the collars, so I hope I was the only one who poke a finger with that only pin. I called the manager and told him that I wanted to file a report and let him know of what happened.. He immediately called some of his personnel to remove all of the pins from all of the shirts that had them. I took pictures of my finger bleeding and pics from the floor too. So what are the chances of me getting infected with a disease from somebody else who poked their finger with the same pin...i'm scared!

What happens if you don't get a Tetanus shot after getting cut with rusty metal?

Maybe nothing. But you could get tetanus, and once you get it, even if they manage to save you, you may still wish you had died. Dying of tetanus may be the most painful way to die on the planet. Here is a painting done in 1809 of a person dying of tetanus. Painting done by his doctor. The position is called opistothonus. Why does he look like this? Your muscles ‘fire’ to contract, i.e., shorten. Then a chemical in your muscles is released to relax your muscles. What the tetanus toxin does is to prevent that chemical from being released, so your muscles fire, contract, and NEVER LET GO.Back muscles are stronger than stomach muscles, so you arch your back.If you are in really good shape, too bad, because you leg muscles can contract so strongly that they will BREAK. YOUR. THIGH. BONES, the strongest bones in your body.Imagine a ‘Charley Horse’ in every muscle in your body, 24 hours a day, for days on end.And there is almost nothing that can be done to spare you. Eventually, your diaphragm contacts, and never lets go, so you quit breathing.Getting to this blissful stage often takes 3 days. 3 days of the worst pain imaginable.(BTW, we know the chemical that’s released, and could give it to you, but then, you would stop breathing, which presents it’s own set of problems)Personally, I think the vaccine shot is the way to go, but hey, to you anti-vaxxers out there, it’s your call. Just don’t do this to your kids, please.BTW, the bacteria that causes tetanus, Clostridium tetani, is a common soil living bacteria. It’s in the ground everywhere. It’s NOT rust that causes tetanus, but a rusty nail indicates it’s been in contact with the soil for a period of time, and thus likely has C. tetani on it.C. Tetani is an anaerobic bacteria, meaning that Oxygen is poisonous to it. If you get a scratch, tetanus is very, very unlikely, because of the Oxygen. But a puncture, like from a nail, creates an oxygen-free atmosphere in the wound, just perfect for C. Tetani to grow and thrive.Tetanus can be ‘treated’ today, but 2/3 of patients still die, and those that survive typically spend 6–8 weeks in the hospital, mostly on a ventilator, with about 3–4 weeks in a induced coma, followed by 4–6 months in rehab. Personally, I think getting the vaccine is easier.BTW, there is a variation of this disease called infantile tetanus. New borns can get it from, for example, non-sterile scissors used to cut their umbilical cord. I will spare you the pictures.

What are some tips for finding my bra size?

Step 1: Determine Your Band SizeWhile braless or wearing a non-padded bra, measure around the bottom of the band, directly under your bust. The measuring tape should be level and very snug. Round to the nearest whole number. If the number is even, add four inches. If it’s odd, add five. Your band size is the sum of this calculation. (So if you measured 32 inches, your band size is 36. If you measured 33 inches, your band size is 38.)Step 2: Take Your Bust MeasurementWrap the measuring tape somewhat loosely around the fullest part of your chest (at nipple level). Round to the nearest whole number.Step 3: Calculate Your Cup SizeSubtract your band size from your bust measurement and refer to chart. Example: 37 inches (bust) – 34 inches (band) = 3 inches. That’s a 34C.So how can you tell if a particular style fits? Try these tips:Bend forward at the waist, then slip on the bra and hook it. This ensures your breasts are completely in the cups.Adjust the band. The back of the bra should be level with the front.Make sure the bra is not too loose. You should be able to slide only one finger underneath the band.Fix falling straps. First, tighten the band, then shorten the straps.Put on a close-fitting shirt over the bra. If the cups pucker or your breasts bulge, you're not wearing the correct size.Look at yourself sideways in a mirror. Your breasts should sit midway between your shoulders and elbows. If not, you need a more supportive and better-fitting bra.If you need to go down a cup size for fit, go up one band size, and vice versa. For example, if a 34C is too big for you, move to a 36B.Choose a bra that fits perfectly when secured on the outermost hook. As the bra loosens over time, make the band taut by moving toward the tightest hook. You can also measure your size with online bra size claculator at Clovia.Source: Real Simple

How can I hide my bra straps?

1. Use a paper clip to turn a bra into a racerback, or to hide straps that keep poking out from sleeveless tops.2. You can also buy clips if you’re not so into the DIY version.3. Sew a little tab into a tank to keep bra straps in place.4. Prevent your bras from getting crushed in transit with a CupCase.5. Sew the front half of a cheap strapless bra into a backless dress.6. If you want to cover your neckline a bit but hate the bulk of a camisole, buy one that clips in.7. Keep a strapless bra from falling down by securing it with a convertible strap.8. Bring your sports bra into the shower with you when you’re done working out and handwash it.9. It sounds crazy, but a (clean) salad spinner will make drying your delicates so much faster.10. Store bras on a single hanger to save space and keep them from getting bent out of shape.11. Attach hangers to store and display a bunch of bras at once.12. Convert your bra so it sits lower for low-backed garments.13. Or buy a converter.14. In a pinch, a maxi pad will guard against poking wires.15. Learn to fix an underwire that’s poking out.16. Test the fit of your bra at home with nothing but your hand.ThinkstockIf you can’t fit two fingers under the back strap, its too tight; if you can fit your whole fist, it’s too loose.17. Strap cushions can keep bras from cutting painfully into your shoulders.Real talk: The only thing better than finding a bra you like is taking it off at the end of the day.
