why do you think should capital punishment be legalized??? i need facts about the benefits of legalizing capital punishment, or consequences of not legalizing it at all!! and cite instances to support the claim.. thank you so much!!!! advance happy valentines day
What would you say if your 8 year old daughter said something cute like she wants to marry the neighbor 9 year old boy?
I was the original bride at school from kindergarten to fifth grade. I wanted to marry every boy I ever liked. I was caught kissing a boy named Bob in Kindergarten in the cloak room. They called my Mom, I came home from school to tell Mom that I was going to marry Bob when I grew up. She laughed and said I couldn’t marry Bob, because he was my first cousin. LOL.I guess I grew up in the non feminist era of the fifties and sixties. I grew up , knowing I would be a SAHM with several kids, and why would I ever need to go to college? I finally went to college at 41.But I think most of the little girls my age had the same dreams, marriage and children. I was married 3 times, I was a failure, My parents were displeased. There had never been a divorce in our family before me. (lots more now). If I had been graduating from high school in later years, more emphasis would be placed on getting a good job, educating ourselves on the world. The sky is the limit.
Should I feel guilty for spanking an unruly 4 year old?
NO. But you need better tools,I don’t want you to feel guilty. It’s in the past; please don’t upset yourself with that kind of guilt.But - you can raise a child from cradle to college without ever hitting, swatting, spanking, etc. What parents need is tools - without them, parents do the only thing they can think of - they spank. It won’t destroy your child, but it’s not the most effective parenting tool.There is a book I always recommend to parents. If you meticulously and consistently do everything this book says, you won’t ever have to pay someone like me for help. It works beautifully - with children and adults, really.The book is How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and Listen So Kids Will Talk.You can get it through Amazon or your local bookstore. I cannot recommend it highly enough. You can get control of those behaviors and your experience as a parent will be so much more pleasant.Good luck!
I got caught skipping class what should i do?
Every school is different... is your school known to be strict on discipline or do students get away with a lot of things there? If it's a strict school and you think that they would check the signature using something that your parents really signed, then have your parents sign the letter. If you think that they won't check but will want the letter back, don't forge the signature by yourself (unless you have before) but get a friend to do it for you. But if your school has a lot of problems with discipline and kids get away with a lot of things there, then you might not need to turn in the letter at all. It might just be a scare tactic used to scare you into not skipping again. Every school is different, and only you and the people in your school would know how your school is. And it's ok to skip class once in a while... just don't do it too often. And don't get caught again! :P
Should the death penalty be brought back to South Africa?
Yes, Yes, Yes, YES, YES, HELL YES!!!! How can you say that killing is killing and that its just as bad if the government does it? If somebody kills and rapes a two year old child and the government kills the person who raped and killed a two year old child, how is that the same thing? A killer needs to be punished and in my book that means an eye for an eye.
How did Aurangzeb kill Sambhaji Maharaj?
After trying almost for 27 long years Aurangzeb never could overcome the Marathas and died at Ahmednagar, which, at present, is in the state of Maharashtra. He started by trying to capture a small fort at Ramsej but his 10000 men could not defeat 600 Mavalas for 4 long months. He tried his hand at Chakan and kept trying at almost 13 other forts simultaneously but could not overcome the Marathas.Finally in 1689 he captured Sambhaji Maharaj by bribing certain Maratha chieftains. He made him sit on a camel dressed with a needle gown. Sambhaji's procession was carried out. Anyone would just pull the camel's tail from the crowd and the camel shaked resulting into pricking of the numerous needles into his body. He was asked to convert to Islam but he asked Aurangzeb the hand of his daughter as a condition. This is seen as a negative aspect of Sambhaji Maharaj's character but let me tell you that at that time Aurangzeb’s youngest daughter was 46 and Sambhaji was just 31.Enraged by this Aurangzeb ordered hot rods to be inserted into Sambhaji's eyes , his tongue was cut and nails pulled out. He was tied to a pole and anyone would chop his flesh to feed a dog or a crow but the Maratha Chhattrapati was hesitant to die. For 40 days he sustained. He continued breathing through that 40 days for his people. Finally on the eve of Gudi Padwa his head was cut and was hung at the confluence of Bhima and Indrayani rivers.Hope it helps:)Jay Bhavani!
