What incident hurt your self-esteem?
When I was about 13 years old my parents had me go to a church retreat a someone’s cabin in the woods.Although I’m not a religious person I liked going to the cabin because there was plenty of land to explore (we found an old, abandoned car in the woods that was falling apart) and they always had a camp fire. It was much better than going to church.However, I decided to wear short shorts. I was a teen girl. What do you expect, me to wear giant, baggy shorts?Apparently so.My church friend’s mom loudly started talking to my mom about how “inappropriate” denim short shorts (she called them “denim underwear”) were, right in front of me.It was highly uncomfortable because I was a self-conscious teen, like many other teen girls. I adjusted my shorts the entire time she was ranting and felt very awkward about the whole thing. I’m overly sensitive and that did hurt.Afterwards, I didn’t wear short shorts for years. Now, at age 16, almost 17, I am just feeling confident enough to wear short shorts.It’s liberating to wear them. They really do look better and they make me feel more confident. Too bad it took over three years…I fucking love my denim underwear now. So too bad for you, Mrs. S.
Why did Priyanka Chopra choose Nick Jonas? Is she next wanna-be Kim Kardashian?
First things first, I am not sure If people in India are exactly familiar with Nick Jonas. Nick is youngest of Jonas brothers(Kevin,Joe and Nick), they have been touring worldwide since they were teenagers. They had tremendous success with Camp rock where Demi Lovato was also with them. Well, Nick actually debuted with his music album while he was 10.Both Joe and Nick have a Casanova image in Hollywood and have dated a lot of A-listers, with Nick in particular has dated Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner ,Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez to name a few.Last year Joe Jonas got engaged with Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark of Game of thrones and is in a band named DNCE which is having phenomenal success with a song named Cake by the Ocean among others, While Nick is doing his singles here and there with his last album being Last Year Was Complicated.Nick has been on the list of sexiest man alive and constantly given the title of Sex symbol. Coming to Priyanka I don’t think I need to elaborate who she is.Nick and Priyanka first made their public appearance last year at Met Gala as they both wore Ralph Lauren as told by Priyanka in a conversation with Jimmy kimmel.After that they have been spotted on number of occasions together and are not shying away from making it public since then. Well, She is 35 and he is 25 but who the hell cares, If she is looking at you like this☺️☺️.Now coming to the next part of the question, Without battling an eyelid, I can say If you're comparing Priyanka Chopra to Kim Kardashian, they both are poles apart. Kim is a reality TV star and got into limelight after being spotted with Paris Hilton and then with all the bad reasons in 2007 whereas Priyanka received accolades worldwide after being judged as Miss world 2000. With Priyanka being UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, A true feminist and two times People’s choice award winner, I don’t think she needs any kind of publicity just by dating Nick. Why do some people look much younger than their age?
I'll answer this on behalf of my wife who is one year younger than me but looks about 15 years younger.Despite being 45, she is constantly mistaken for a woman in her 20’s, is still challenged for ID in certain places, and generally attracts plenty of looks from young lads.She attributes it to lifestyle and genes. Now when I say lifestyle, I do not mean healthy living from a nutrition or exercise point of view. Whilst she is a vegetarian, she scoffs chocolate and ice cream as if each time will be her last and won't go near a gym as she detests fitness.She does however, stay out of the sun and she rarely drinks alcohol. She consumes water by the gallon and sleeps like Rip Van Winkle.
