I Really Want To Be A Girl For Halloween

My son wants to dress as a girl for Halloween. Should I let him?

My 12-year-old son wants to dress as a girl for Halloween. He's always on the honor roll, has plenty of friends, and is always a happy smiling kid. He loves sports and has always been "all-boy". His father is out of the picture and has been for 10 years.

My son told me he thinks it'd be funny to go as a girl this year. I haven't acted like I thought it was strange and have gone along with it. I even took him to the mall a couple of days ago and bought him a pink frilly dress. Should I actually let him wear it to school (for their Halloween costume day) and for Halloween? Is this peculiar or is it just a normal kid trying to be outrageous and funny?

Thanks.

How can i tell my mom i want to be a girl for halloween?

Halloween is about being silly, having fun and dressing up for one night. I don't see why this should be a big deal!! My brother and I traded genders for Halloween one year, it was fun! Heck our parents helped us makes our costumes! I was a cowboy and he was a cowgirl! He had fun walking around, prancing like a girl and just being silly. Dressing like a girl for Halloween does NOT mean you want to be one or that you are gay, so just explain this to your mom.

One suggestion is, try finding things you can use for your costume at stores like the Goodwill and Salvation Army. It's only for a costume, and home-made costumes always turn out so much better than store bought one. Best of luck!

I want to dress my son as a girl for halloween?

Why don't you pick out a couple of girls costumes for him to wear, like a school girl, cheerleader, nurse, maid or dress him up like Paris Hilton if he has the figure. You should let him practice dressing as a girl and wearing the costumes on weekends, so he'll be ready for Halloween dressed as a teenage girl.

If I want to meet girls at a Halloween party shall I wear a mask?

It's halloween.  It's a night for fun and decadence.  Wear one or don't wear one.  A good number of people who attend Halloween parties are totally into the whole costume and fantasy aspect of it all.  You'll see people with lame store bought costumes, and then you'll see people who clearly have spent a little bit of time on their presentation.    I say wear a partial mask.  It's kind of sexy, kind of mysterious.  Make it as a part of a really cool costume.  Or make it part of a costume of a known masked character like from Marvel or invent your own clever superhero masked man.  If it's good it will be a nice conversation starter.  When I see men in full plastic monster like masks....I stay away because it's just boring.  And they get all sweaty and hot under the mask and end up just wearing it on top of their heads.  What's the point?

Fun to Dress up a guy as a girl for halloween?

I have always had fun when my wife or girlfriends in the past, would dress me up as a girl, it didn't matter if it was for Halloween, a costume party or just something to do for a little fun. I'd always found a way to lose a bet or other way so that I would end up getting myself dressed up as a girl. I've spent entire evenings, days, nights and weekends dressed up as a girl. I'm always game to be dressed up and I always go all way when I get dressed.

How do you turn a boy into a girl for halloween?

Usually the way you walk gives you away, but there's not much we can say that would help you. Swing your hips when you walk, but not too much or it looks stupid. And hide your legs! Wear black tights if you want to show your legs...it's a dead giveaway otherwise.

Girls are a lot like guys in the way we act, just less immature usually (than guys in our agegroup, that is). I don't think you'll have to change that too much. For talking...well, how well can you imitate a girl's voice? That's going to be a bit of a problem, because the pitch is difficult - can't be really high, like most guys use to imitate girls, and can't be too low, or you'll get looked at funny. So that'll be difficult. For what you say, it's not very hard at all...just don't talk like "oh, like, yeah, totally!" that guys seem to want to say when imitating girls because most girls don't talk like that.

Wear a dress, or wear a skirt, or even wear girl's jeans and boots and a girly shirt! Although I may suggest a dress - one with a big skirt on it - to hide the fact that you don't have any curves. For boobs, just stuff a bra. A smaller bra, that is. You go up to D sizes and people will know they're not real. Opt for B or C instead.

Now for makeup. Girls use coverup to cover most major blemishes - pimples won't be seen on their face, neither will cuts or freckles or dark circles under their eyes. So it's time to use coverup everywhere you need it (this step is a lot less complicated if your face is clear). Now, makeup. Go light with the makeup. Use a tiny amount of blush, put light blue, green, or black makeup on your eyes - skip the eyeliner if you've never used it before because it's really difficult to put on right - and use lightly colored lip gloss instead of lipstick.

For hair - if your hair is long already, take a curling iron to it and style it like a girl would. You need the curling iron if your hair is straight and the straightening iron if your hair is curly, you just want it opposite. If your hair is short, you're going to need to buy a wig - preferably in your own hair color. That way it will look more natural. And trim those eyebrows! Guys usually have a forming unibrow or just really bushy eyebrows. Girls don't because they wax, trim, or pluck them - so you'll need to do the same.

Even with all this, you might still look kind of like a guy - even when professionals do this they don't look 100% female. So best of luck! :)

Is it illegal to dress as a Army girl for Halloween?

I really want to be an army girl this upcoming Halloween but I don't know if it would be considered impersonating a government officer. I just wanted to wear a black tank top (maybe a camo jacket), camo pants, combat boots, and a (fake) dog tag. Would that be considered impersonating a soldier? I feel stupid for asking this but I want to be sure.

Does your boyfriend want to dress up as a girl for halloween?

I think your boyfriend is like my husband. He likes the feel of feminine clothes. However, he knows its weird to dress in feminine clothes, and he lives within the my rules:
1. He can't use my clothes, period.
2. He can't use feminine clothes during our intimate times.
3. He can't create a female alter-ego, or pretend to be a woman.
4. He limits his crossdressing to just a few clothing items, and doesn't wear them much.

However, Halloween is a different story. That's when things get crazy. I design our outfits, and dress him up.

One year I was a black cat and he was a witch.

Last year I was Cinderella the early years: I wore a beautiful long blond wig and a raggy dress. He was dressed in a outrageous puffy prom dress with a big petticoat. He was flat-chested, short wig, big shoes,... He was Cinderella's Ugly-Step-Sister. It was hilarious.

This year will be both be wearing little girl dresses with petticoats and pinafores. We will have the same out-fits, same wigs, same everything. We will be twins... only I will be the Good Twin and he will be my Evil Twin.

You can have a lot of fun with your boyfriend.

Dressing like a girl for Halloween. What should I wear?

Dude, Just don't do this because all of your guy friends are going to think your gay and I wouldn't even do this my self, Just my Opinion because if that was me being dressed by girls I would feel really embarrassed and wouldn't show my self in public until I'm 40 and I'm 17 now.

Do not listen to them because they want to embarrass you in front of everyone and trust me, I'm a guy and I know that girls like to do these kind of things to guys to embarrass them in front of public. Just wear something manly like a Medieval Knight or something manly that will not make your self embarrassed from Public.

And please don't hate me because I'm trying to save your life from public of being Humiliated.

But if you really want to do this, I suggest wearing a School Girl Uniform with allot of makeup and a wig, Or a dress. But be warned, Don't let people know your a guy because you will be Humiliated for the rest of your life until people forget about it.
