I Really Want To Start A Rock Band Like Paramore

What are some bands similar to Paramore?

Against The Current . They will be the new generation of Paramore . The band consists of 3 persons which is Chrissy Costanza,Will Ferri and Dan Gow . Their songs are loud and fascinating just like Paramore is. They do have their own YouTube  channel and Instagram with the same name . Their band initially started with doing cover song from another singer but they do release their own album with their original songs . I think the best song from them are fireproof , paralyzed , gravity , infinity , and another you another way .

Bands? Like Paramore, Flyleaf, ect.?

i liked paramore pre-mtv.
and now they're overplayed and too many people like them..

but eyes set to kill, and the cab are so amazing :D

mayday parade has a really hot guitarist, other than that theres nothing good about them. XD

but if you like them you'd probably like most of the bands on the fueled by ramen record label (:

What are some good rock bands like PARAMORE?

I love Paramore! (:
Okay, there is Fireflight, VersaEmerge, Jimmy Eat World, and the next band I'm going to list doesn't sound a whole lot like Paramore, but Paramore loves them (I love them) and they are indie-
Death Cab For Cutie!

But uhm, there is this wesbite, where you can type in a band and they will find similar artists. It's called tastekid. So, I already typed in Paramore, and this is the link-
http://www.tastekid.com/like/Paramore/mu...

So, tastekid went more with the whole 'punk' side of Paramore. So if you like that kind of stuff, go with those bands.
Alright, so I'm gonna tell you about those bands I listed. I tried to hit every apsect of Paramore.

Firelight- Just a typical kind of rock band with a female singer. Wonderful vocals.
VersaEmerge- Experimental rock. Crazy good lyrics, female singer.
Jimmy Eat World- A fun band, male singer. I mean, you probably know some of thier stuff, and they are fantastic.
Death Cab For Cutie- My favorite band. Indie, and just divine!

If listen to some of the bands I listed, and you don't like them, listen to the others! You never know what you may find!

So, uhm, hope I helped!
(:

Bands like paramore????? is paramore emo?

i want to listen to more bands like paramore (the best ever) but also want to know if its emo coz heaps of ppl have started calling me it and it is so annoying. plz help!

Am i too old to start getting into bands like Paramore, 30 seconds?

You're never too old to get into bands.
I only got into Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys when I was about 12. Yes, I know it's different, and they're not a big part of my library, but I like them just the same.

If you really like the music, you won't care about other people or your age.

I mean come on, I'm a fourteen year old girl who listens to the Village People!

Are there any bands like Paramore or Linkin Park that I would like?

You could try You Me At Six, Fireflight and Kings of Leon.
I'm going to throw another one in.. Owl City. XD

Bands like Paramore with female lead singers?

The Veronica's
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Alexz Johnson
Automatic Love Letter
Flyleaf
A Fine Frenzy
Hey Monday
Jaymay
To Be Juliet's Secret.

Why did bands like Fall Out Boy and Paramore sell out and become pop groups?

Fall Out Boy came back after a three year hiatus in 2013. They put out a successful pop album, Save Rock And Roll, that same year. The album lacked a lot of the live instrumentation that made the first four albums so great. It was over produced, the lyrics were bland, and the band sounded too similar to other mainstream acts. People nowadays are used to that generic sound are won't try anything new. Imagine Fall Out Boy putting out Infinity on High today? Would it have done as well today as it did in 2007? Probably not. They only went downhill from their. American Beauty/American Psyco is a boring pop album with hit songs that became really annoying with repeated listens. MANIA is not any better and makes no attempt to seperate itself from most other pop albums being made today. All three albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. They're more successful than they've ever been and are earning more money than most bands today. Panic! At The Disco earned their first #1 album with Death of a Bachelor, their most pop leaning effort at the time. As of July 6, 2018, the current #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart is Pray for the Wicked by Panic! At The Disco. The album follows obnoxious pop and trap trends, but that's what most people nowadays desire. Some bands genuinely want to do it for reasons other than to gain more money, and I don't think money is the only reason some bands are doing it. Musicians are influenced by other musicians, and most popular music today doesn't sound like A Fever You Can't Sweat Out or From Under The Cork Tree. Both bands you mentioned have gone into two entirely different directions with their music. Yes, both bands began writing “poppier” music, but only one sold out. Paramore did make a pop album, but it sounds nothing like most pop today. They're reviving an old sound and adding their own style to it. It's passionate, well written, and they're still using their instruments (they're just not playing them the same way they used to). Here are some bands I recommend if you miss that old pop punk/emo/alternative sound: The Wonder Years, Remo Drive, McCafferty (I might be spelling that wrong), Sunny Day Real Estate, The Promise Ring, and Neckdeep

Some good bands like The Pretty Reckless and Paramore?

I love really modern grunge/rock/punk bands - The Pretty Reckless is my new obsession, I love Taylor's voice and all of their songs; and Paramore is a given, naturally.

If you could reccommend me some more like these two I'd appreciate it so much!

Wants: Female vocalist, modern-ish (not like Hole or The Runaways).
Don't want: Screamo bands. (I'm a pussy and they scare the hell out of me.)

How much money do you start a band with?

To start with:Drums: are they round? Can you put decent heads on them and tune them? Are the cymbals any good? I've heard $75 drumsets sound fine with good heads. Cymbals cost a little more. With luck, you can get an OK sound for $300 or so.Guitars: Get an SX from Romdo music, set it up and plug it into a Peavey amp. Go used and you can do this for under $200 per guitarist. Same goes for the bassist.PA: spend your money here. You need speakers, amps, a mixer and some microphones at a minimum. My first PA was a pair of old guitar cabs and a 4-channel powered mixer. It wasn't good, but it worked. Also, budget for cables. They get expensive quick! So get some gear and learn some tunes, play some gigs and put any money you make back into the band.I suggest having every member responsible for a portion of the PA. And put it in writing. So you might have the drummer responsible for mics, bassist for speakers etc. When the members go their separate ways (and they will) they take their gear or sell it to another band member. This saves a lot of headaches and arguments down the road.
