Hello my dearest! I have a GlobalTeq GCR 300CX set top box (STB) for receiving digital TV programmes and convert them for viewing on my analogue TV set. The STB has its own remote controller. I recently bought a universal remote controller (URC) that can control all of my other devices except for this STB. Unfortunately, I don't know its infracode. Maybe you will help me? (Don't tell me to write to the manufacturer --http://www.globalteq.com/--, I have done it, but they didn't even answer my e-mail.)

Along with the remote comes access to a list of codes that can be input into the remote control in order to work the television. It usually goes something like this:Look up your television manufacturer and number on the list.Press and hold the TV button on your universal remote until the remote signals you that it is ready to accept a code. This is usually something like a double blink or triple blink.Input the code that you found on that list, making sure that all the digits are entered in quick succession.Press the TV button again. The remote will typically blink once more to let you know it's accepted the code.once you've gone through those steps, try the remote on the television and see if it works the controls the way it needs to and is supposed to. If it does then viola! you have completed the task.If it does not work, then go back to the list and look and see what other codes are available for your device manufacturer.this process is not the exact same thing for every universal remote but it is something like that typically.
