I Recently Brought A Pergout 307 Petrol 1.6 Engine Now It Indicates A Fault Call Antipolution Fault

I recently brought a pergout 307 petrol 1.6 engine now it indicates a fault call antipolution fault please somethin one help me with this by?

You need to get it plugged into a scanner to find out which part of the system is causing the warning.
,might be something simple but will need code read first.

I bought a peogeot 406 hdi it is showing anti polution fault how do i reset it or what could b the cause.?

if your millage is 50,000+ you will more than likley requre a new particle filter and eloys fluid topup this will set you back a couple of hundred pounds when replacing the filter or topping up the fuel additive (eloys) the ecu that controls this will need to be told whats been done this can only be done with the use of a diagnostic computer(peogeot dealer only) but to diagnose the fault you will need to contact your dealer for a diagnostic check. it may come down to a regeneration of the particle filter this is were the diagnostic computer will rasie engine revs to about 4000rpm and get the filter to a high temp at this temp the particle filter will self clean by burning off all particles within the filter

Changed peugeot 307 temperature sensor, still getting engine coolant high fault any ideas whats wrong please?

Hi there, yes it could be thermostat, but consider other possibilities, How old is the car? it could be gunge building up in radiator. check to see how clear your water is, are you losing any water? it could be a gasket it could be something as simple as air in the cooling system try running car with radiator cap off, also before starting car have cap off and squeeze water hoses to expel air then start car and see if any bubbles of air rise to the surface, no bubbles will mean your gasket is ok as well. if you still have problems then change thermostat Jock

To know through fault condition you must know about the differential protection which is used in power system. In order to explain I will consider differential protection in case of transformers. The figure shown above gives a better insight of the differential protection. Basically, in this scheme we make use of two CT’s as shown above and then difference in the currents sensed by these CT’s is used to actuate the trip coil of the relay. This protection scheme is used to detect the faults occurring in the transformer, it will not take care of the faults occurring outside the two CT’s.Suppose a fault occurs on the line after the transformer. Then fault current will start flowing in the system, this current will flow through both CT’s and their output current will also be same due to which trip coil will not me actuated and relay will not trip. This condition is what we call a “Through Fault”.Always remember differential protection will only sense the faults occurring inside the range of CT’s. For through fault conditions we will have to use distance protection scheme or else we can also make use of over-current scheme.

According following relations for fault currents in the case of LG and LLLG extracted from sequence circuits, by assuming Z1=Z2, if Z0

Segmentation fault means the program has tried to access a memory address that is undefined. In the Linux or Unix context, the term comes from the “segment registers” that were used to map virtual memory to real memory on the PDP-11. The high 3 bits of the address selected one of 8 sement registers, which specified where in physical memory that segment was located. Each sement had a length as well. If your program accessed an address “off the end” of a segment then you got a segmentation violation. In the Multics world, segments are independently mappable regions of code or data or mapped files, and each had an address or length. These were supported by the Multic paging hardware and are similar to mmap’d regions or shared libraries today.Segmentation violations are not the same thing as page faults. A page fault suggests a transient condition, which can be corrected by the OS. A segmentation violation usually represents a program bug. (Although you can set up signal handlers for SEGV and fix them!)

Have someone read this to you as you picture this in your mind:"You are on a small, light-blue boat in the middle of a calm, still lake.  It's early morning, and the sun is about to peek over the horizon.  It's peaceful, with a low, light fog hanging over the dark water.  You are sitting in the middle of this boat, the oars at your side, your back straight, and your breathing slow and easy.  Your mind is clear, and at peace.  In your hands you have a clipboard and an indelible pen.  On the clipboard there is a sheet of paper. Now, picture in your mind the exact actions that you took in the near-miss.  Write them down on the clipboard.  What did you see when you almost died?  Write it down.  What emotions did you experience?  Be as thorough as possible.  Write down all of the pain and horror, all of the recriminations from your loved ones.  Pour your heart out onto this piece of paper.  Then, once you have written every single bad thing from this experience, unclip the paper from the clipboard.Fill your mind with decision, with the determination that you are going to ball that paper up.  Clench your fists around that paper.  Ball it up hard.  Look out onto the surface of the lake, and you'll see the sun glinting off of the water.  Stand up and turn around, toward the dark side of the lake behind you.  Throw that ball of paper as hard as you can, and see where it lands.  Watch that ball of paper sink deeper and deeper into the murky, dark depths.  Eventually it's so deep you can't see it anymore, and it's no longer there.  That paper is no longer there.  Those things you wrote on that paper, they're no longer there.  It's all gone, and you can turn around and look out at the sun as it rises majestically before you, a brand new day dawning for you to row to the shore and embrace your life with love and laughter with those you love.  This is what you deserve.  Everything is okay."
