I Recently Got A Windows 8 Computer Everything Works Fine But The Videos I Try Playing Online.

Updated to Windows 10, videos won't buffer?

So yesterday I updated my Windows 8 HP laptop to Windows 10. It's nice, but pages take a bit longer to load, and watching videos is impossible. Whether it be on Youtube, or anywhere else, videos will buffer for the first few seconds, then stop then buffer forever, then play, then stop, repeat. The funny part is that when I plug in my laptop, everything works fine. Videos will buffer smoothly, I can play in 720p and not 144p, and pages load like normal. I updated my flash player, thinking that was the problem, but it didn't help. I think I updated my wifi driver, but that didn't do anything either. I also tried setting google chrome's priority in my task manager to high, but I'm not sure if it worked either.
I've had issues with this computer and plugging in/unplugging the charger and the wifi messing the entire time I've had it. But it's never made videos not play, and my internet is good enough to be able to play videos.

NetFlix and Youtube videos not playing on Windows 8.1?

Hello Now or Never,

i just exerienced something similar regarding Google Chrome. 1, on the upper right of Chrome browser
below the 'X' to { close } browser. There is a button with 3 horizontal stripes, click on it. A list will
appear, slect the 3rd choice "New Incognito Window." Another Chrome browser will appear. Go to
You Tube and you should be alright [ sorry....do not have Netflix subscription ]. 2, The other option is to
download a copy of Mozilla Firefox browser. Last i tried worked fine. Good luck in your endeavors.
Happy computing :-}

How to fix NetFlix errors on Windows 8?

I'm using a Windows 8.1 desktop computer (less than two months old) and I'm having trouble with videos. When I try to use Netflix on Chrome the video only loads to 20%, then I get Error Code N8202. If I try to play a video on YouTube that's more than a couple minutes long it fails to load. Some videos and GIFs fail to load or are really slow to load on other websites too.

On IE, Netflix stops loading at 24% and I get Error code H7031-1105.

Videos and Netflix worked perfectly the first month I had my computer. But suddenly one day, it just stopped working. I hadn't changed anything. It has been about 3 weeks now, and I've tried everything I can, but can't get Netflix and YouTube to work properly.

The problem is not with my account because it works fine on my Windows 8.1 RT tablet.

I've tried fixing MS Sliverlight, but that hasn't helped.

PLEASE HELP ME

Why isn't Google Chrome playing YouTube videos?

Because Google Chrome is tired of playing videos. Give it some time to breath. :P Just kidding.. I know that was lame. Anyway, it may not be playing videos because of the following reasons:Brower not updated - running an older version of browser that doesn't support flash and html5Adobe flash not installed or updatedBrowser settings has flash and java disabledInternet connection is too slow to load the videos (less likely a scenario, as you somehow managed to post on Quora using the same internet I assume)Graphic driver has crashed (offline videos will also not play, if this happened)So, try to figure out and let me know what the reason was. Also, send a screenshot if problem persists.
