What should Paul Ryan do now that President Trump wouldn't sign the more moderate immigration bills?

So we saw how the conservative wing nixed the most recent attempt at comprehensive immigration reform to the point that Trump needed Democratic Party help to pass. That effort was intentionally blown up by Democratic Senator Dick Durbin’s revealing of Trump’s shithole comment. Trump blames Senator Durbin for blowing immigration deal/ 'I cannot even stand to look at you'Democratic Party leaders clearly prefer immigration to be a wedge campaign issue rather than to have a problem solved. That is why there was zero movement on it in 2009 despite Obama’s promise and overwhelming majorities in Congress.Paul Ryan is the Republican Speaker of the House. If the Republicans in the White House let it be known publicly or privately that any bill will not be signed, the bill typically would not come up for a vote. That is what would happen with a Democratic Party Speaker and a Democrat in the White House.Paul Ryan should acquiesce to the larger majority of the Republican House members. If they want a vote on a bill, he should put it up. If not, then no. That is how two party governance works.
