I Submitted My Job Application Online Now What

Should I submit another online job application after messing up and sending the first one?

I applied for a job at Golden Corral and its an online application. I completed the application and submitted it until I realized that I didn't complete it right. Should I submit another application in but this time with a resume?

I need to know right now. Eventually, I will go and talk with the manager but for now, I know what errors I made but I don't think its really too professional to submit more than one online application. I don't know. HELP!

I just submitted an online job application, but there was nowhere to put my cover letter?

Perhaps the company does not care to see your cover letter. Your resume should have all the relevant information about your qualifications. The Cover letter is in many cases merely a formality.

Should I submit a job application before or after the holiday season?

Tien, I agree your question is a good one. Timely too. From a USA perspective (that may apply to other western countries), I recommend not let up in your search ever. Make your job search a second job, 7 hours a day, five days a week, minimum. My experience the past 24+ years assisting one-on-one more than 4,000 professional men and women in transition, so-called holidays can be an ideal time to make contact with decision makers. Why?Because often those who can say yes to an interview or yes to showing interest in you have fewer barriers around to block your efforts.By the way the following words you submitted apply to all direct e-mail efforts 24/7/365. You wrote: (gets put in the pile of apps before other apps).Sitting at your computer sending out information about you in response, I presume, to online listings displayed by so-called job boards, is one of the least productive channels of distribution of your reasons why hiring officials should pay attention to you.If you have a fully charged telephone and a list of decision makers, call 100s of them right now and throughout the alleged “down time” from now through the first week in January, 2017.Cold “calling” by sending text documents is a zero sum process. Worse yet, it is demeaning and causes non-clinical depression. As profane author and back of business cards, artist, Hugh MacLeod says, “if you want to stand out in the crowd, avoid the crowd.” hughmacleod.comCrowds take the “easy” way and non-productive way of applying for work.To be clearer. Competing job applicants whose first choice is to sit at a computer and apply for better paying jobs online is wrong, not right.Watch what experienced, competitive fisher persons do. They use a variety of tools (rods, reels, lines, live bait, and lures), to catch fish of all sizes and varieties.People who are successful fishing, also do something jobseekers should do, chum.Don’t know what chumming is? Find out and employ that strategy today.Said another way, if you are not pursuing better paying employment using a whole host of methods, you are not serious about what you are doing. As FastCompany Magazine often says, “Pursuing a career is not about finding a job, it is all about building a network.”

Hollister online job application?

I applied online at Hollister yesterday and picked a date for the interview at the end. After submitting my application it said I should get a confirmation email when they have received my application but I haven't got one. Do I just have to wait a little longer to get it? And if I never receive it do you just go to the interview on the day that you picked? I just don't want to go unless I know I'm supposed to be there!
Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

How long do I wait after submitting an online application? ?

It is always best to do EVERYTHING FACE TO FACE. Applying on line is ok but then print off an application that you filled out and go in there 2 or 3 days later. Not 4 days, not 5 days, not a week or two or three. Take the application with you and go in when they are not the busiest, which you will know from common sense. Kmart's busiest time is on the weekends, restaurants' busiest times are at meal times, etc

Go in and ask for the manager. Find out the manager's name before going in by calling or sometimes listed on line or when you get there ask the hostess or customer service worker, etc.

When you see the manager coming towards you say "hi, my name is ________ and I filled out an application on line and was wondering if you would consider interviewing me? I brought an application with me just in case you haven't had a chance to look at mine yet".

Keep good eye contact. Dress nice. Be polite.

Yes, you can wait but you know what.....you will wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. Go out there and get what you want. Will you get the first job you go after? Maybe and maybe not but you will get a job and you will get a job much sooner than many other people who wait and never get called. Be assertive. Be confident. Don't be afraid of them saying "NO".

Be sure they know your name. When leaving say "again, my name is _________and I hope to hear from you soon. Would it be ok to check back with you in a few weeks ?(if they aren't hiring now). Thank you Mr./Mrs____________".

Don't listen to people who say you should wait. That's why they don't get called for months. Always in person if possible. Make sure they remember you. Something has to set you apart from all of the other applicants. What will that be? Are you going to "HOPE" they notice the experience on your application? There's a lot of people out there with experience. The squeeky wheel gets greased. Blow your own horn. And all that other good stuff.

I accidentally submitted my job application twice?

I applied online then one of the team member send me a job application online and I completed it and submitted it then I went back to make sure everything was right and submitted it again. Are they going to suspect something and not hire me? I did not change anything. Everything was correct.
