Did you have a supernatural gift as a child? But as an adult not have anymore?
I don’t know if this counts but as a little girl, I had 2 horses that lived in the bath which was in our kitchen. One day, my mum stared laying the table for dinner and I went mad at her and shouted “don’t do that, can’t you see my horses are lying on the table!” The strange thing is that I am scared of horses as an adult. I also used to see cowboys and Indians in the sky.
How can I know that I have supernatural powers?
I'm not an expert. But these are things I can think about:Dreams that come true from time to time.Occational Pre-awareness of what is going to happen.Making wishes that come true sometimes.Occational vision. For example you can say what your neighbor is wearing right now, while you can't physically see them through the walls.Strong intuition and inspirations.Genuis ideas that suddenly ring to you and you are sure you couldn't possibly have a clue about such an idea normally. And you feel the idea is injected to your mind half-way from outside of you.Strong Creativity.When you think you can read people’s mind and and predict their intentions before happening.The ability to control things that are normally random, for example make the dice fall on 6, about 7 out of ten times that you throw it. Or making the coin fall on head 9 times out of ten times it's thrown. No matter if you are the one who throws it or another person.When you are angry, electronic objects around you get damaged or been effected. And when you are happy you feel you can effect their performance.You feel you can control the random events on computers for example in computer games. For example in those pc games that is based on chance, like the so called dice, you notice that YOU win most of the time over your friends. And it doesn't make sense .When you notice you have supernatural powers, it doesn't mean that you just can use them in your own fabour. At the stage of realizing, they are pretty much out of control; they come and go whenever they want, sometimes you want them and they are abscent, and sometimes you wanna be immune from their bad effects (like don't damage gadgets when you are angry), but you can't turn them off.It takes a lot of practice to learn gain control over them, tame them, and use them for your own favour.And as I said, I'm not an expert. So I have no idea what practices you should do and how to train your powers. But if there is a good answer that helps do it ourselves, I, too, am looking forward to it. ;-)
I feel like i am something special, like something super natural, but when i want to utilize any powers, i really can't, so what can i do for bringing my hidden powers out?

Each of us is special, each of us is unique.But when we focus on ourselves, we pretty much get nowhere.As I look at people with special powers or amazing gifts, the ones that do best seem to be doing one of two things. Either they are artists, creating stories and objects that beauty and wisdom into the world, or they are acting in service.Also, our super powers are related to our everyday powers. A good listener is likely to have super hearing or super empathy. A good musician is likely to have a gift with music.So my suggestion is this. Quick focusing on your special gifts. That is accidentally self-centered.Instead, whatever gifts you have, use them either to create something or to serve other people and help the world.Be creative and caring with all the power you have, and more power will be given to you.That way, you will become a superhero or a person with wonderful gifts who is making a real, and good, difference in the world.After all, if you’re going to develop super powers, do you want to end up in the Legion of Superheroes, or do you want all of them trying to chase you down?
Do you consider your supernatural ability as a gift or a curse?
It is not an easy path & like anything has pros & cons. The overall is worth it however, fully developing your gifts is not for the feint of heart.It can be confusing, isolating, emotional, physically & psychologically challenging. And then, it becomes beautiful, as though a light has been turned on & all that struggle finally has a point.Most stop when it is nothing more than a cool party trick, but to continue opens up more than what is conceivable. However, it must be wanted & not only because it's cool. There is a responsibility & when this is honored there are no limits to gifts; they will continue to grow & evolve.So, an amazing path however, one with unique challenges quite like anything else. If you're open to that, then supernatural simply becomes natural.
Any movies about people discovering they have supernatural gifts?
Lady in the Water Unbreakable (neither of these are necessarily horror but both very good at showing the process of finding and developing those abilities) Suspect Zero (thriller) I'm trying to think of some horror movies like this, but most horror movies center around others finding out someone (or something) else has supernatural abilities. A Nightmare on Elm Street (I forgot which one) shows the day Freddy was given his ability. ... stumped EDIT: Memflix has some great picks. I don't know how I missed Firestarter. I watched that like crazy when I was younger. Also, I would like to note about The Shining, although the production value is a bit higher in Kubrick's version, the miniseries (1995 or 1996?) does a pretty fantastic job of bringing most of the actual book to life. Kubrick (as he is known for) takes his own spin with it -- although still good.
The power of precognition, is it a supernatural gift or is it biological?
So...since I was young I have been able to predict events in my sleep(occasionally five years into the future, sometimes two days), and I have always been wondering, is this a power from God or is it biological? In recent years, I have begun to investigate, and when I mentally focus on things, it seems I can see the future like I do when I am asleep. Anyway, what do you think, is it a gift from God, or is it biological? Also, I do not want any quotes from the Bible, I want honest answers from people who have thought about this themselves.
How is it that some people attain supernatural powers on the way to enlightenment and others do not?
The journey towards enlightenment is away from the known. The old reliable indicators of common sense and what everybody knows must be left behind in order to uncover new perspectives. It's a dangerous move, fraught with chances for self deception and openness to ridiculous ideas of others. Some people get even more caught up in magical thinking. The spiritual circus offers up a wide array of side shows that may delay discovery of the main attraction indefinitely.We can see how superstitions and religions widely capitalize on people's urges to believe in something more than the mundane. The journey towards enlightenment often starts off with magical thinking about the destination. Without the elaborate myths about it, few would start based on an accurate description of the process. The ego program is excellent at offering opportunities for delay and distraction. The mind wants to hold onto its magical thinking, so magic (Enlightenment) is offered as a cure for magic (conventional worldview).
What are some miracles or supernatural powers pious people have?
We know prophet / messengers have perform miracles and have some supernatural powers, such having access to God and Angels, being extremely knowledgable about past and future, not losing wars, what about very pious believers, God says he will be their eyes and ears.
Is it possible to have supernatural abilities? Are there signs that you know you are different?
Yes. So far I have shared this to my sibling and a classmate and they didnt believe me.I am yet to embrace the ability, It feels like a curse sometime, But like I said I look forward to handling and embracing it. Since I haven't discovered it completely all that I know about it is that I can predict the near future that is within my "circle", esp, myself. I know is hard to believe since of course the future is affected and is made by what you do now, but the ability is really different.Example:When there is an upcoming event, I will "SEE" Myself in it. What will happen, what I will do, what I want myself to do there. Its like painting the scenery in that event. Im basically "Imagining" the scene.And it will not happen. You may have doubts and you may tell me "Its because you're expecting it to go the way u want the event to" but that isnt really the case. IDK how to explain it but i have proven and tested it.To put it shortly whatever i put myself to see, wont happen.My life is starting to become predictable and boring beyond my control. Sometimes I have to put on my headphones and play loud music to drown the voices and visions in my head. I dont want to see what will happen. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN— And its never good.Im starting to understand it better these months so my decisions and steps in every matter has become more careful. Im guided from the pictures in my head.I used to think its a curse because it has spoiled and taken away potential opportunities and great events in my life.Also I am called a weirdo for this matter.
