Please help,I want to be pretty?
My friend Taylor is always telling me that I am fat and ugly.My older sister is practically my twin and we went to the mall and did the photo booth.For some weird reason in pictures people can't tell if that was her when she was my age or if it is me.I brought the picture from the photo booth to school as a bookmark.My friend Kendra was like woah she looks exactly like you so pretty!Now I know how you will look when you are older.Taylor said she is pretty and I am not and my other friend (who is always trying to act cool said the same thing.No offense but they are both not very smart people.They are always relying on me for help with their homework) I said stop making stupid unnecessary comments like that because they are annoying.She didn't say anything,all she did was repeat it.I am really confused.When I got home from school I went to the store with Kendra and Kayla.We walked in,Jane was on the other side of the store and this lady went up to Kendra and I and said that we were so beautiful and should be models.I really don't think I look like a model,I want to be an actress.I thought I was really ugly.It am going crazy!Now all I do is get on yahoo answers and ask questions on how to look better.This boy was telling me how my eyes are amazing.When I told my sister she said:well,you are not the one who looks like a pregnant man. -What should I do? -How can I look better? http://www.flickr.com/photos/44862381@N05/
How to look pretty with an ugly nose? ?
I married an Italian. He has a nose. but hes gorgeous in my opinion. I have big green eyes. they look very much like Katy Perry or Mila Kunis' eyes. I've learned to draw attention away I just use less makeup. People are so harsh about noses. Like Jessica Simpson, but I think her nose is pretty! Its good to draw the attention away from your nose, maybe enhance your eyes with mascara and cheek bones. Also, having well groomed eyebrows works wonders on making a beautiful face. I'm sure you're gorgeous. Love your nose!

If I look good in certain light, and bad in other light, am I ugly or pretty?
As a portrait photographer, I know that lighting + angle of the face are the keys to making people look good or bad. I attended a lecture a month ago from a fellow who had just come from photographing Obama, and was on his way to photograph the Queen of England, and had photographed countless celebrities and world leaders. He mentioned a particular country western speaker who knew that she ONLY looked good from ONE angle. At first, he didn't believe her, but after doing one shot from a different angle, he realized that indeed there was only ONE correct angle for her. Every day that I am shooting - portraits, weddings, family - I am looking at lighting and angles of the face thousands of times to get each person looking his/her best. That is the nature of the human face and current (early 21st century) aesthetics.
How to become a better looking/prettier 14 year old girl?
Okay... You are DESPERATE so I can say a load then :) I would say, get a hair cut, buy a new shampoo, even if it is expensive... you get what you pay for. A new hair cut could be drastic or just a little change. Side fringes and layers are cute and simple. Maybe find a shampoo that has shine booster and oil control in it. :). Straightening it can look nice as long as its sleek and shiny not frizzy straight. Also you MUST/SHOULD look at cute hairstyles on the internet and maybe buy some new hair accesories which bring out your hair or eyes. Glasses... well if you think you look too geeky in glasses, contact lenses are an option. If not, get some trendy glasses and depending on how much you want to spend designer ones such as Calvin Klein aren't too much (I have them). Braces... well just remember you will have the best smile once they're gone and if people tease you (who have no braces and unstraight teeth) just say "Well at least when they're off I will have a nicer smile than you" they will go away because they can't have anything to 'top it up' (experience). Make-up... Eye liner or mascara or both can bring out your lovely dark brown eyes. Also blusher and a coloured lipgloss or lip tint can make you look more awake. Some GOOD foundations can help your skin look more 'perfect'. Clothes! Are you blind!? Abercrombie is soo in! Also, if you want to change style... look in magazines, what are the celebs wearing? Pick clothes which bring out your lovely personalitly. Don't try and style yourself like someone else. Style is all personality. I personally think Hollister have some pretty dresses and cardigans. Also jewellry can bring out features and applaud what you are wearing. So... once you rock your new style, new you, you can start talking and becoming friendly with people. :) BOYS view, like girls who have : slim body, toned long legs, big boobs (its ridiculous), nice personality, pretty face, and sometimes nice hair. :) xx
Why am i so ugly and everyone else is pretty?
I dont want to sound like a brat so please dont take this the wrong way. How come God didnt make me pretty. I Know we are all beautiful in his eyes, but i dont feel beautiful. I hate taking pictures because I always look bad in them. All my friends are pretty and outgoing but im so shy ,ugly and insecure. My family and cousins are all so pretty too how come i didn't get the pretty genes. Do you think people get prettier when they get older? Please help and tell me what you think....

How do i stop feeling depressed my mum says i'm much prettier now but i dont feel pretty i feel uglier.My family members say i'm pretty my aunt grandma,grandma says I should be a model.I mean i do have a nice body but my face is just eew.I don't want to post a pic for privacy.Looking back to 2 years ago my skin was so much lighter
Why do I think I look decent sometimes, but other times I just feel like ugly trash? Is anyone else like that?
I thought that should have been obvious. Even the best people I know have their own ups and downs.Sometimes it's a fashion choice mistake. Sometimes they are sick so they just don't look good. Sometimes the world just hit them with depression so they are uncaring of their look. Sometimes they are stressed out so they binge eating to the point the skin gets oilier than usual, they get indigestion, the skin breaks out, etc.So yeah.. these people usually look fine/decent but they have days where they are just not.. nice to look at.. as well.I don't know how they are feeling inside at that moment but I definitely feel ugly a lot when that happens.As for the why, well… because it's probably the truth. Still, be kind to yourself. Accept the situation and move on. There's more to life than just one's look.
Why do adults think I'm pretty, but not my peers.?
I get complimented from my mom, dad, step-dad, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, teacher, neighbors, stranger from the streets, and old people. They all say I'm a pretty girl, but I don't think so. All the kids at my old school called me ugly and threw things at me. Even boys said I was unattractive, except for one guy who said he didn't want to date me because I wasn't popular enough. He ended up being trash. I once wore a beautiful dress for homecoming and every single teacher said how beautiful I looked, but the only peers who said I looked pretty were my friends. No one else I knew said I was pretty, they just stared at me and grimaced. Do adults say that because they have to or they're just being honest?
