My dog hates me now, what should I do?
Well, Sheba probably does not like being picked up. You might have hurt her a little and annoyed her. It's normal for her to bite you in reflex, but that made her not trust you anymore. Now, you should go to your dog, but don't touch her or anything. bring some treats and stand about 7 feet away from her. slowely walk to her while making sweet coaxing noises. when your hand distance away, hold our your hand with the treat, let her sniff it and give it to her. then pet the fur on her stomach and neck, bellow her head. this is a sign that she is dominant and will give her courage that you want to be friends. if she lets you, say good girl and keep comforting her. hope i helped!
Why does my dog hate me??:(?
I think my Pomeranian dislikes me. I've had her since she was a puppy, she's 5 now. She's actually a good dog, housebroken, walks off the leash etc. BUT never sits with me like a normal dog. She always wants to go sit and sleep in a corner alone. For instance if a pick her up and take her on my bed to sit with me she just jumps off and goes back to her corner BUT if I put her on the bed and walk away, she stays! and if I'm not home my roommate says she tries to get on my bed.
My dog hates me now that I'm pregnant!!!?
I have an incredibly smart Border Collie that we've had for about a year now. I am about 3 months pregnant with our first child. Ever since I became pregnant, he's started changing and becoming spiteful and malicious. He's latched on to my husband and hates me all of the sudden. I've had two different trainers tell me that it's because i'm pregnant and animals can sense those things...especially border collies. My husband and I believe this to be very true because he's only like this to me. He's mainly my dog. I'm the one who found him and adopted him, trained him and have been his main caretaker. He used to adore me and follow me around everywhere. Now he wants nothing to do with me. We have another dog (a loyal mixed dog) who's been around a lot longer and a cat and neither of them have a problem with me. Only the border collie. Who's about a year and a half years old. We've tried to get him re-trained (professionally) and nothing is working. He completely disobeys me now. Does the opposite of what I tell him to do. I truly feel like he's being spiteful. And he has recently started hiking his leg up and peeing on me-on purpose! I've tried EVERYTHING with this dog from trainers, to training collars, to playtime, crate training, clickers, treats, extra love, walks, doggie daycare, you name it, I've tried it with him. I'm afraid that if he hates me, then he will hate our child. I am ready to find a new home for him. I feel like we aren't the right family for him and he isn't going to be happy not being the center of attention anymore. We've invested a lot of money in this dog and he's had amazing training...he just refuses to respect ME! I don't want him to become aggressive either. My husband wants to try and give him more chances (although, he's not peeing on my husband either!). What does everyone else think?
My dog hates the camera?
A lot of dogs are afraid of things that they don't understand, my dog is afraid of everything-especially the camera, except if you catch her when she is excited she just lets you take a picture. You really just have to patient with the dog, kneel down beside her and show her the camera as you pet her. Then she will know that it can't hurt her. She just needs to get used to it and eventually she'll come around. Good luck:)
