I Took Laxitives And Now In Scared. Help

Took 4 laxatives and scared?

I am not encouraging you bulemia, but if you have thrown up very recently after taking the laxatives it is likely that you threw them up before the effects could take place. However, if you haven't thrown up, please don't try it. Don't be scared. On my box of laxatives, the directions say 1-4 pills are reccomended for one day. Your stomach will most likely start cramping, and you will feel slight to moderate discomfort.

You really should consider seeking help for your bulemia. Constantly throwing up is very, very bad for you and ultimately could kill you if you do not stop. I'm sure you already know all of this, but I wouldn't feel right not reminding you of the harm you're doing to yourself. Laxatives are also bad for you. Laxatives should only be taken for constipation that won't clear up on its own, and they shouldn't be taken frequently. All laxatives do are clean the crap out of you. They literally break down your poop into watery brown poop. Your bowel movement will be similar to peeing out of your butt. And, I'm not being crude when I say that. I know it sounds disgusting, but that's exactly the effect laxatives have on a person. Hopefully, the negative side effects will persuade you to make better choices. If you're worried about weight, throwing up and taking laxatives will not solve the issue. You have deeper issues that need to be solved with medical help.

Don't be afraid to admit you have a problem and to seek help, sweetie.

Took dulcolax and now I'm scared?!?

Dulcolax is used as a short term treatment for short term constipation issues. Where as Lactulose is used long term.
Dulcolax, when taken orally, has an onset time of around 12 hours and treatment should not be continued for more than one week, if symptoms persist then see your doctor.
Lactulose can take up to 72 hours for onset and is usually administered for months or even years at a time to control a persistent case of constipation. You should be fine after 24 hrs

I took 6 laxatives???????????????

So I've been on a diet for months now but on thanksgiving day I binge ate. My stomach was in sooooo much pain I couldnt go to the bathroom or vomit because I was just in so much pain. So I looked in my cabinet and found laxatives but they had expired may of 2009. I was willing to take anything thatight make me feel better so I took 6 since I thought they probably lost a lot of their potency. Well yesterday I just felt nauseous all day and today I woke up in the middle of the night went to the bathroom a couple times thought I needed to vomit but never did. But I woke up again and I had diarrhea. I just barely made it to the toilet (srry if tmi) well now I feel a little better but I still feel nauseous. Is this cause of the laxatives?Should I go to the hospital? I believe I'm developing anorexia nervosa becuz before thanksgiving my diet was just apples and sunflower seeds. I always think about food, I always read Every single thing on labels, I count every calorie I skip lunch sometimes and all I eat is an apple for breakfast snack on some sunflower seeds or nuts when I get home from school and then an apple for dinner (I'm 15 btw) I don't want to tell my therapist this cuz I don't want him to tell my parents.

Can Too Many Laxatives Mess Up My Body?

Uhm. YES.
1. Laxatives aren't the way to go. You can seriously mess up your bowels and large intestine. And become seriously malnourished because you're pooping everything out without everything becoming properly digested.
2. If you're trying to loose weight, just stick to a healthy diet and exercise routine. In the long run, you will look healthier.

LAXATIVES please help?

hi im 17..my last month my friend tricked me into taking laxative and now i worried because i havent been on my period and im worried that i wont be able to have kids or something help..i asked her were she got them from and she said boots in green packet HELP i scared!

Is it safe to use laxative when im 2 weeks pregnant?

I am pretty sure the packet instructions carry a warning not yo use if pregnant? You are better off eating something like prunes/dates, or some Wheat Biscuit or All Bran Cereal. These will do the trick.

What does it mean if I haven't pooped in 3 days while eating normally every day?

Yikes! Possible constipation, this depends on your fluid intake. If you've decreased fluid intake chances are your poop is drying out in the descending colon on left side. Have you tried a stool softener or oral laxative? My sister craps once a week and that's normal for her. If you were normal going daily, talk to general practitioner first. It's probably decreased fluid, but you don't want to assume it's that simple. There's things like strangulation and rupture etc diverticulitis. Doc can monitor you and suggest magnesium citrate. It's horrid if you have to have manual removal. Please don't shrug it off but don't be frightened.
