I Took This Pill Last Week And Didnt Get What I Expected

PLEASE!...She didn't know she was pregnant and took the pill (Yasmin) for 3 weeks!?

First and foremost, I suggest asking a doctor. They will be able to take all factors into consideration and give you a more accurate answer.

That being said, a baby can easily be born with no problems if the mother took birth control for 3 weeks. Your wife is hardly the first person to make that mistake. Remember, the menstrual cycle is about 4 weeks long, so many women can't know they are pregnant for 3 or more weeks. It happens all the time.

However, hormones and such can have a negative impact. Although it's most assuredly not definite, it is possible. For that reason more than any other, I suggest seeking a true medical opinion.

Good luck, and don't be too worried. I'd be surprised if your child was anything other than perfectly fine.

I am on Seasonique and on yellow pills when can i expect my period?

Hi Amy,
Please continue your birth control pills and start a new pack this Sunday. Seasonique is unique because patients on this medication typically only experience 4 periods per year instead of 12. However, during the time when you're finishing up on the yellow pills, you will experience slight bleeding or spotting that can last for 3 days. But the bleeding will not be as heavy as a normal period. So please start on your new pack this sunday. Also, do not take a pregnancy test at this time because pregnancy tests are only accurate when you are 2-3 weeks late. If you take it too early after a missed period, your results will usually be negative. So, don't expect to get your period every month, just make sure that it comes about every 3 months. if you go for more than 3 months without your period, please see your physician.
I hope this helps.

I took Plan B why hasn't my period come yet?

Would this be around the time you're supposed to get your period? If not, then you shouldn't worry just yet. Taking plan B will not cause you to get it. Actually, changes to your menstrual cycle can be expected after taking this pill. You could experience spotting, your period could begin a few days early or be really late, and the flow could be different. If you don't get your period within 3 weeks after you took the pill then you should take a pregnancy test.

I took a morning after pill about 80 hours after the initial sex. then my expected period came 2 days later.?

The longer you wait to take the morning after pill, the less effective it is. I've taken it about 5 hours after unprotected sex and didn't become pregnant, and didn't have any problems. However, everyone's different.

The pill indeed screws with your period, and it was definitely normal what happened. This happened to my friend.

Just pay attention to your period and see if you get it. Get a pregnancy test and then get a blood test to be absolutely 100% sure.

Good luck!

We had sex and after 2 weeks I had my period. I haven't had sex in between, but my next period is 4 days late. Should I be worried?

If your last period was a regular one, and you didn't have sex after that, you can't be pregnant.  If it was a bit less, sometimes during early pregnancy some vaginal blood loss mimicking a period can occur, it could be a "false menstruation" so you could be pregnant, since the period 2 weeks before an expected period are your fertile days (ovulation is 14 days before the next period, and sperm when the cervical mucus is "sperm friendly" can still fertilize an egg after 3 to 7 days, an egg will last 10 to 24 hours after ovulation) if you're not on birth control pills. If in doubt, do a DIY home urine pregnancy test. You are using a reliable form of birth control until you're ready to have children, I hope?As you see the pill in typical (≈sloppy) use isn't as safe as many have thought, only an IUD is, along with other long acting reversible contraceptives = LARCs like DepotProvera injections and hormonal implants especially in women <21 yo see Effectiveness of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception — NEJMPPR = pill, patch, ring
