I Use Yahoo As My Home Page. Somehow I Play Is Now My Home Page And I Can

Yahoo page messed up?

Kee,

Thanks for reply. However, Flash player or Web browser are not the cause. My browser (i.e. Firefox) is uptodate and MS update, did the last update on the IE just few days ago and they both are behaving the same way. I just updated the flashplayer (which was updated a week ago) and I am still having problem with the home page.
I tried the new Yahoo page about a week ago for few days and went back to classic. So it is not the Java script not being enabled or any out-of-date components.

Thanks for reply to me anyway. You are the only one that has replied so far.

Thanks,
Roya

I play alot of Yahoo games and am sick and tired of all the cheaters! Why can't Yahoo deal with them?

Hi!
Sorry you keep getting stuck playing against losers!!

Like christy72034, I also went to pogo. I've been a pogo member since the website opened, and I've been a "club pogo" member for 4 years. I joined as a paid member the day they started offering it! (but, they still have free memberships as well!!)

The reason yahoo doesn't control this type of behavior is because yahoo games is an unconrolled environment.
On pogo, you can "report" a player and it sends EVERY move in the game, EVERY word chatted, and EVERY thing to do with the game to tech support. MANY people lose their accounts every day, because pogo takes cheating, harrasment, stalking etc... very seriously! they want their game environment/website to be a safe, relaxing place for everyone to come and enjoy their time with friends and family.

Yahoo doesn't even take care of emails that you report as spam!! Ive marked the SAME email from about 10 people (and from the same company) as spam, yet it continues to come to my inbox! I have people blocked on my messenger list, yet somehow, they still message me. I've reported people as stalkers and harrasers on yahoo messenger, yet they still get away with doing it to others.

I wish I knew why yahoo didn't take care of these problems, but I would say it has something to do with the MILLIONS AND BILLIONS of complaints they get a day from all over the world.

How can I move a photo from Windows Media Player to My Pictures Folder?

The computer audimaticely takes all unknown applications to Windows Media Player, so it wasn't your fault. All you have to do is find the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your computer screen. Click on this and in the box where it says Search Programs and Files, click there and type in the name of your photo. It usually has something to do with the date it was taken, so it will be easy to find. Once you find it, DON'T CLICK IT, RIGHT CLICK IT! I cannot stress that enough. One of the options will say Properties. Click on this, and then under type of file it will say Open With: Windows Media Player. Press the change button right next to that and click Windows Photo Viewer. Click Ok and exit. Open up the file, and it should work!

Help me play an m2v1 file please!?

I have VLC player, Quick Time & the usual Media Player and cannot play the video on some files sent to me from my friend. They're all .mov files, and in VLC I get an error saying they cannot play m2v1 files and there is no way to rectify this...

Can someone help me in laymans terms with converting these files somehow to a normal MPEG that I can use with windows and the windows video editing software?

Really appreciate it!

Mozilla makes Yahoo! the default Firefox search engine in the U.S. Is this the beginning of the end of the Google era?

There is really no end in sight for Google. At this point they are a hulking near-monopoly sized gargantuan in search, and that commanding position will only increase in time as Chrome takes over from Firefox as the current trend indicates (but Firefox is down to 18.8%, not 7.6% as Alon Amit suggests) and Android is distributed widely to countries where iPhones are not at all affordable to the general populace. For the foreseeable future, the majority of desktop users will forevermore be directed to use Google search through Chrome, and a supermajority of mobile users will be directed to use Google search through Androidâ„¢. This move by Mozilla is only a blip on Google's march to dominance, as Chrome is systematically overtaking Firefox's browsershare, and the world inexplicably trusts the multi-colored behemoth to no end.The rise of mobile makes Google's position even more untouchable for its competition, because there, unlike the desktop, they own the OS too. Google and Android are to mobile what Microsoft and Windows have long been to the desktop. If you want to escape their grasp, you'll just have to pay up for Apple. And worldwide, not everyone can afford that.Even if Google search results were to somehow get worse, much as Google Maps recently started being not-fun to use, Google will, for a long time, be at the top of Searchland and will be impossibly hard to remove from its perch. At this point, there is very little we can do about it.But don't forget, Google is watching you. On Chrome, on Android, and especially in Gmail and on Google Search, they are always watching. We've invited them into our lives, and now it will be hard to get them out.
