I Ve Been Having This Right Groin/lower Right Quadrant Pain For 8 Days

Pain in groin area 8 months after having unprotected sex?

So I have been having pain in the groin area the past couple of days. I had unprotected sex back in May which was approximately 8 months ago. I'm experiencing pain in the general area where my prostate is. When I am dehydrated and I urinate, I experience pain but if I'm hydrated there is no pain whatsoever. Sometimes I have random tingling near the tip of my penis but that happens randomly at best. I have a varicocele in my left testicle that attributes to the testicular pain, so I understand that portion. I also have lower back pain, and random lower abdomen pain and soreness after sexual intercourse. Sometimes, right below my belly button when I stretch, I feel a painful sensation but otherwise that's fairly random as well. If someone could tell me what's wrong with me that'd be great! Thank you for your time.

Constant Chronic Pain in entire lower Left Butt Cheek, Hip, Groin, Leg & Foot?

I have been in constant severe pain on my entire lower left side since I fell from the very top of a 6.5 ft latter & landed directly onto the round porcelain part of a toilet bowel. I hurt in a couple different areas from my left hip (side, back & front). In my left butt cheek (especially when sitting, bending, squatting &/or touching), pain in my groin (especially when I extend my leg), my inner & outer thighs, down the side of my entire left leg to my left foot. How can I manage the pain at home

What could this be, a sharp pain in my lateral lower abdomen near my hip?

During his stressful six weeks of 12-hour days and pulling all-nighters to finish a book translation, Adam started experiencing a sharp pain in his lower abdomen. As it got progressively worse, he feared he had appendicitis and rushed himself to the hospital. The doctor ushered him into the operating room in preparation for the surgery to remove his appendix. Before putting him under, he asked Adam how his abdomen felt.‘Actually, at this moment it feels fine.’Typically, appendicitis gets a lot worse over time. The doctor gives Adam a curious look and says, 'That's weird. Let's wait 10 more minutes and come back in.'He leaves then comes back, poking at Adam’s guts, 'How does this feel?'‘It's uncomfortable, but it wasn't as bad as it was before.’Then he says, 'Okay, you don't have appendicitis. This is something else!’ He cancels the operation. Partially relieved, Adam explained that the pain would come back every few hours, so they sat there trying to figure out what it could be.The doctor asks, 'Have you been in a lot of stress lately?'‘Yeah, I had 12-hour days, six weeks and I hardly left the apartment!’'When was the last time you took a dump?'Adam looked at him and thought, ‘I don't remember.’The doctor smiles, 'Okay. I know the problem.'They gave Adam some juice. ‘Take this. If you still have the problem tomorrow, come back and we'll investigate some more. But I'm pretty sure you're just plugged up. Just go home.'Adam got home a couple of hours later and described the next few glorious moments.“I got into the door and I had to take the biggest dump of my life. It was like the emoji poop - it was big.Everything came out in the end.So patent that one, that's mine.”

Warm burning sensation in my lower right abdominal area.?

Agree with above, appendicitis is a possiblity for your belly symptoms. There are other abdominal pathologies too that can produce similar symptoms (crohn's, ulcerative colitis etc). Generally there are some bowel symptoms too (diarrhea, blood in the stool etc but not must).

It is a good idea to go to ER and get it checked rather than delay. My gut feeling is you should be ok even if you wait till morning and get it checked by your clinic Dr. But why to take a chance?

Not sure what that voice was, may be you are under lot of stress and fear due to your belly symptom, that might have precpitated the voice. If the voice happened or happens frequently then it needs to be evaluatd too.

All the Best!

38 weeks, 3 days pregnant...extreme pain on left side?

Sounds like sciatic pain OR pelvic girdle pain. Both are very painful, I suffered PGP in a couple of my pregnancies, AND to make it even more fun I had symphysis pubis dysfunction, but it's not dangerous or anything, just sore as hell. The joys of pregnancy! Pelvic support belts can help...they did for me.

Check out the sites I've linked in the source area, they should help you work out what you're suffering from, and how to ease the pain until you've delivered (good news is you feel almost instant relief once you've had baby).

I have a persistent pain on the left side of my abdomen and lower back. I have consulted many doctors, but the cause is still unknown. What could it be? (See description)

Congrats on having no abnormalities found after such extensive exams (personally, if you were my patient, at 23 yo, I wouldn’t have done so many exams). Many people having an irritable bowel syndrome feel their sigmoid colon, located in the left lower part of your belly, cramping, this pain radiates to the back, groin and thigh. These are measures that you can try to alleviate your pain:-if constipated do something about it, e.g. by-taking lots of food fiber e.g. metamucil® 4 tablespoonfuls with lots of water a day which can be effective in non constipated people too-spasmolytics e.g. Duspatal® (mebeverine) -some people I treated did quite well often on super low dosed tricyclic antidepressant (imipramine, nortryptiline) starting at 10 mg at night, after 3 to 6 weeks if no success slowly more 25 mg (to a max of 150 mg/day). It only works after 3 to 6 weeks, so patience is needed. This we know from our chronic pain clinic experience.-some patient did very well on cognitive behavioral treatment.

How long does it take to recover after a laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery?

Well, I had my surgery on 8/13. The first day I could not eat anything. I tried. It was not a pleasant experience. Day two I mostly slept, but I ate a little.Late day two my wife removed my pain pump. Yes, I woke up with a thing attached to my stomach and it gave me pain meds straight to my gut every 4 hours. When it came could I was in pain immediately. I took only 2.5 pills the first 2 days and my script was 1-2 pills every 4 hours. As soon as the pain pump was off I took the scipt until it was gone.Day 3 I worked from home, but I should have slept more. Day 4 I went to work but not the whole day. Day 5 nearly 100%Day 10 was when I keep lift more than 20 lbs., the directions said not to for a week. 2 weeks more like it.
