I want to be a YouTuber?
I know that this has been asked about a million times on this website, but my situation is a bit different from some people. I've had multiple YouTube accounts in the past, one I've made in 2010 that had like 80 subscribers... ended up deleting it later because I was so embarrassed by my 10-year-old self. Then later on, I made a channel with my best friend, but the content ended up not being so good, and we were, again, so embarrassed about how the videos looked (and how people from school stumbled upon them), we ended up deleting the channel entirely. In the past I've also tried to start gaming channels and basically other accounts to where I wouldn't have to be on camera and no one would know it's me, but those types of channels are always so expensive. For example, with gaming you have to spend a lot of money on new releases, along with the equipment to record on-screen game play. It's always been my dream to be that kind of YouTuber that just sat in front of a camera and just speak my mind (like Superwoman or even a couple of LGBT people out there), but I'm always scared that people from school will watch them and then make fun of me or whatever. I'm just looking for thoughts and suggestions.
I wanna be a famous YouTuber?
It takes money to make money. You would have to spend big on your equipment and start making videos yourself. If they gain recognition then you will either be asked to become a partner or be able to apply to become a partner. From there, youtube would put you on the main page to star attracting attention. Your odds are slim to none. Good Luck.

im 14 years old girl and i live in egypt, i really do enjoy giving advice and organization tips and stuff like that,i really think i can kind of help people in a way and i have thought about it alot and i talk to my camera alot too as practice but never have the guts to upload. i know for a fact that if i start making youtube videos,people at school wouldnt shut up about (btw im going to 9th grade aka first year of highschool) people at school will judge me so badly and im a sensitive person and i know it so thats stopping me. what should i do?
What is your advice for camera shy wanna-be YouTubers?
You can overcome shyness and show your personality on YouTube. I'm a huge introvert myself and I'm still a bit uncomfortable in social situations. But you have to understand: you are in control of what you upload to YouTube.So if you have a desire to start out on YouTube and film yourself, just start out! Make your first video. It helps if you start small and take your time. Write a little script with a couple of bullet points that you want to talk about. Then turn on the camera and start talking. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. If you're uncomfortable at any time, just pause, take a deep breath and continue.The thing is: it doesn't have to be right the first time. You can edit out the mistakes and pauses. You can reshoot segments you're not happy about. You can add music and effects to make your video more dynamic and interesting. And you can polish the raw footage until you think it's ready to upload.It's not easy and you probably won't be 100% happy with your first video. Upload it anyway. Then think about what you can improve in your second video, and so on. Once you've reached your 5th, 10th or 20th video, you'll feel much more comfortable. You'll probably have some subscribers and get some feedback on your videos that you can use to improve even further.I'm an introverted and kind of shy person myself, but I still decided to put myself out there on YouTube. YouTube has helped me to become more confident and even more outgoing. And now, eight years later, I have tens of thousands of subscribers on multiple channels. I visit YouTube events with thousands of other YouTubers, without feeling uncomfortable. I really wanna become a youtuber but 1. Im only 13 and i dont want people to laugh at me because im younger than the other youtubers.... 2. Also I am not that good with makeup or straightening/curling hair... 3. My laptop is really crappy so.... Yeah

You shouldn't start a YouTube channel because you want to be YouTube famous. I'm not sure what sort of youtube videos you like and/or want to make but if you watch peope like Macbarbie07, I'm sure she didnt go into youtube thinking 'I want to be Youtube famous'. Just make videos about something you like and are passionate about and people will like you. 1) a good camera is important. I dont know about you but I cant watch people with bad camera quality! 2) good lighting. Film in front of a window for best lighting or buy studio lighting 3) to get your channel started start with popular videos that will get a lot of views!
Is It Bad I Want To Become A Youtuber so Much?
I've been watching Youtube videos since I was like 10. Over the summer I would wake up every morning, and see what some of my favorite people on youtube were doing and would always be so interested in what they were posting. Overtime, I started to get this desire to do the same thing. I mean, I've always had plans to and I always had video ideas, it's just that I've never actually uploaded a video. I am 16 now, and lately, I've really been wanting to just buy a camera and do it. But the thing is that, honestly, I'm kinda afraid. I constantly look up success stories to try and inspire myself but really, I don't know if I'll ever have the guts to do something like that. I am capable, and I'm talented. It's just, I don't know.. Scary. I'm afraid I'll be this epic failure at it. My whole life, I've wanted to be big or do some kind of entertainment in the industry but this self awareness just gets to me every time. So that's why I procrastinate. What can I do? As much as I want to, I'm afraid I never will start a channel. Can you please help? Give me some inspiration, maybe? Thanks....
Youtubers vs parents?
I watch a lot of youtubers and listen to music that cusses or sexual but it doesn't make me sexual or cuss. My parents don't like me to listen to things that cuss even though my dad lets me watch rated R movies sometimes. And I really wanna get youtuber Merch and listen to aNy music I want. And I wanna be able to say something dirty in front of my parents like my friends they say a dirty joke and there parents just laugh. How could I do this?
