Is it possible to retrieve photos from old cell phones?
Thanks for the A2A.Technically speaking, as long as the phone in question is still working, you can retrieve all Data you want, not just photos.Usually, to retrieve Data, in this case photos, from a phone, all you have to do is to plug it to your computer in order to access its internal storage. The moment the phone is connected to your computer, a window or rather a dialog box more or less like this one would appear before you,Thus its internal storage will be accessible, along with all the Data it contains. To directly dive deeper into the storage of the phone, you're going to want to click on “open device to view files” where you could have anything from a mere folder to a whole bunch of folders displayed, depending on how full the phone's storage is and how it's organized.Once you reach that point, I'm sure you can find your photos by yourself and once you do find them, you can either copy them somewhere else or completely move them out of the phone. Now depending on what phone you're talking about, phone makers often release softwares and programs that help make things a little easier for the average consumer, Samsung for instance has Samsung kies and smartswitch, sony has Xperia companion, LG has its pc suite, etc…Such proprietary softwares can help you backup your Data, as well as retrieve it from the phone. But becareful, sony's Xperia companion won't work with an LG phone and vice versa, each phone has its suite.
After a Lollipop update on Xperia C3 Dual, my phone is working slower. How do I make it again go back to the normal speed?
Well., if your phone contains too many apps, then I would suggest you to first remove unwanted apps and use a cleaner like SD Maid to clean the junk files and unwanted files. If you find no increase in the speed of the mobile., then There's no solution other than reverting back to kitkat version. Sony XPERIA C3 Dual D2502 Follow the link to know how to get back to the kitkat. Also if you'd like to try Custom OS, you can find many of them here Xperia C Android DevelopmentBe careful with the procedures. Can I exchange my mobile on amazon?
Hello,There has been a recent change in E-Commerce policy and most of the E retail companies in India do not allow exchange of mobile phones unless there is Physical damage or the phone itself is not working.Only in exceptional cases, exchange or refund of Mobiles is allowed. The reason behind this policy change is, reducing the loss incurred due to exchange or return of phones. Once the seal is broken, the value associated with the mobiles is almost cut down by 20-30%. Since the companies cannot re-sell the same phones to other consumers, they used to incur heavy losses for the same.If your phone is working fine and there is no visible damage to it, I am afraid you cannot exchange or return the phone back to Amazon.SJ^
Are Mi phones worth buying?
Yes, they are worth buying. If you compare the specifications they provide with other phones in that price range you will see a huge difference. Other brands like Oppo, Vivo, Samsung, etc., won't give you specifications in 15k phone which Xiaomi(MI) provides in under 10k.Many people think like they are Chinese companies and these phones will give problems after some time of use.BUT NO THEY DON'T!!!Most of the Android smartphones use Snapdragon or MediaTek processors. They don't make their own. So it doesn't really matter it's Xiaomi or any other brand. They have same components of the same brand. They just adjust the clock speed and do some changes to it.How does Xiaomi provides such specifications at a cheap price ?Xiaomi is a new brand in smartphone world compared to Samsung, Apple, LG, etc. They want to build trust. If both Xiaomi and Samsung provides you with same specifications and at same rate then why would someone opt for Xiaomi as they know Samsung is more trusted than Xiaomi. They don't make huge profits from their Smartphone sales. They mostly earn on their accessories.Everything has advantages and disadvantages and so does Xiaomi. They don't have a good after sales service(like any other chinese brand)If you did some damage to your phone which is not covered on warranty it will cost you too much to replace it.Last but not the least don't expect Android updates.Overall it's a very good deal when you get such good phones at lesser price.
