I Wanna Study Overseas Any Suggestions

I want to study abroad, but I do not have enough money. What can I do?

You can apply for a scholarship …I'm from india and I didn't have any money with me when decided to study abroad . After a long search for some scholarships I found so many chances all over the world . I didn't have money and time to prepare for IELTS or any other English proficiency exams. So I couldn't apply for a number of scholarships . But I found Turkey govt. Scholarship (Home - Türkiye Bursları )doesn't need that kind of exams and it's application system is very easy . So I applied for this scholarship . After one month they sent me a message that my application was successful and they invited me for an interview in Delhi. I went there alone after borrowing some money from friends (it's like 2000km away from my home). The interview was very easy for me . After one and half month that beautiful news came to my email .. I was just jumping and dancing when I see that… then I got visa and flight ticket for free ..and ..yup ..now I'm in Turkey… I'm getting a scholarship of 250$ every month besides the food ,accommodation and health insurance. I'm studying well…. Yea . Even poor can study wherever if he have academic caliber.. my dream is studying masters degree in Oxford or Cambridge university. I will study hard until I get a scholarship to study in the no. 1 unv. In the world..In nutshell, you can study anything anywhere if you really want to do it… good luckFind the best scholarship for you from this website https://goo.gl/MwNvxs

I want to study abroad but can't afford the expensive tuition fees. What do I do?

You have a few options, as I was also in this same boat when I wanted to study abroad in university. Here’s what I did:apply for scholarships!! Your school might have scholarships for studying abroad! If they don’t, there are plenty of scholarships out there. Look online!Save any extra money you can. If you get money from family for your birthday, stash it away for savings. If you have a job, put a portion of your paycheck away into your study abroad fund.Choose a program you’re interested in and is realistic for you. I studied for a summer in France. Going to France wasn’t that exciting for me but the program I looked at doing was cheap, gave me the college credits I needed, and I was going to live in an area that I could easily and cheaply travel around on weekends and after the program ended. I ended up enjoying France way more than I ever expected.Plan ahead!!! Plan super far in advance. The more in advance you can, the better, especially if you want to go for a long period of time. For me, after everything, I ended up paying €436 out of pocket for my trip (tuition, housing, and flights included) thanks to scholarships. I was able to use money I saved up from working to travel for 3 weeks all over France, Barcelona, and Iceland.Good luck!!!

What is your motivation for studying abroad?

There are many different reasons why one would go and study abroad, some of them are listed below:1. Take a breakMany people go abroad to study simply because they want to take a break from their job and they have enough money to survive in any country they go. no matter how much we cry but student life is fun. Some people think of reliving that again. Everyone has an idea, that once they graduate, new responsibilities come up like a job, buying a car, rent payments, a mortgage, and other family responsibilities. It will be difficult to get away for any length of time and immerse yourself in a foreign culture.2. Socially or culturally learn something new about some country I have many friends who wanted to go and study abroad and when i ever asked them the reason, why? they used to say that they want to interact with the people of that country and experience their culture. Hmmm... not a bad idea, when you have to study further and you get to study in your most favorite country in the world.3. Expand your view of the worldStudying abroad provides you with an informed and much less biased perspective toward other cultures and people. When you move abroad the thinking prospective increases, and your mind broadens you start thinking in a quite different manner than everyone. 4. Family My biggest motivation were my parents, they did everything for me since i was i little kid , every parent does and never ask anything in return. They just want you to study properly and make a career out of something. If i would have been still there in India with the bachelors degree in my hand, i would not be earning enough to support my family. But, now i think i can and i am proud of it.5. Study abroad enhances employment opportunities. To an employer, a student who has studied abroad is self-motivated, independent and willing to embrace challenges. Your experience in a foreign country will all set you apart from the majority of other job applicants.PS: There may be some people who just simply want to study abroad and it's their dream to study there because of the course or university. Also, there can be many different reasons or motivations why people go abroad for studying, but i have listed all the reasons that are currently in my mind. :)

What would be your advice to an international student who would study in Taiwan?

I would like to give advise to an international student, if you coming down to study here .I think these Asian region specially Taiwan and Japan, They have more similarity among them, As Japan ruled over Taiwan more than sixty years . So there are influences of Japanese culture and tradition here is clearly visible ,People are friendly and polite like Japan .As per the living environment you will find yourself in the friendly zone to have any kind of help and support , so you don’t need to worry about the people and environment. Some thing I would like to share with youIf you are an International student you must take in consideration about some food habit is different from other countries , so some time you find the foods are different than what you used to eat .Some time you will find little bit worried about language , people here used to speak English too , but they are not much comfortable to speak out with foreigners . But they will try to help you out as much as they can , so no need to much worry about language .Transportation is very convenient , so it would be easy and comfortable to have the tour to other place or cities . But all the App for trasportation systems more and less are in Chinese , so it would be difficult to use it .If you can manage to speak few sentences in Chinese , like basic some sentences will gonna great help to you .a) How are you ?b) what’s your name ?C) I want to go to xyz place ?d) Is this bus go to xyz place ?e) Where is the MRT station ?f) “Thank you “g) where is convenient store ?h) I want buy coffee/tea/food ?If you wanna know any thing more , I will try my best to help you out .Welcome to TaiwanGood Luck !

I want to study abroad but I am poor?

I'm an American (currently living overseas) and I'd like to study abroad in the UK. I haven't graduated high school yet, but I'm looking for universities and getting discouraged because foreign exchange is so expensive (my parents are separated, soon to be divorced). Right now, my biggest wish is to get into an international school and apply for an exchange program to the UK. (I don't want to go straight to the UK in case I don't like it). But I have some questions regarding expenses:

-The international school I want to apply for is not in America, therefore, I can't use FAFSA to cover fees. Are there any other student loan programs I can use?
-How hard is it to get into an international school?
-Do you have any good international schools I should look into?
-Are there any scholarships I can apply for to make things cheaper?

If the international school thing doesn't work out, I wanna try to get into a UK school, but 1) it's super expensive and 2) I don't know how. So:

-What are the general requirements for getting into a UK school? I don't take A-Levels or the GSCE because we have AP classes and the SATS here. Will that cover it?
-How much would it cost?
-Are there any American loan programs I could use?
-Could I possibly get a grant? (because my mom will be a single mother)

Is my wish a bit out of reach? I'm just really tired of America as I feel I can't achieve all that I want to here. I would be so happy if I could go to a school in the UK. Any tips or experience stories would be highly appreciated. (btw I am going to have a total of 7 AP classes when I graduate, and I have not taken the SATs yet, if that counts for anything. I also want to study either psychology or journalism)
