Can I sue my dentist for wrongly installing my braces on? He forgot to clip the end part near where the wisdom tooth is and it shredded my gums.
What you are proposing is absurd. You want to sue the dentist over a wire poking at your gum? No licensed, practicing lawyer would take you seriously.Easy fix: go back to the dentist to clip the wire - it literally takes 2 seconds to do. Alternatively, if you can’t get in right away, go to the pharmacy oral care section and buy some ortho wax, take a ball of it and stick it on the pointy wire. I assure you, no matter how shredded your gums may feel, it will heal very well in a couple of days, for sure by a week.Your braces are unlikely wrongly installed. You want to know something else? You probably have to look forward to this fairly frequently if your teeth are actually moving to close up a space. You know what you do? Just suck it up and deal with it like everyone else who has/had braces. I’ve had braces before and know what it’s like. It ain’t fun, and in fact, it’s uncomfortable, painful at times and very inconvenient, but you get used to it and just deal with it. If you can’t deal with it, then I suggest you debond everything and not proceed with orthodontic treatment. It’s clearly not for you. What your dentist and his/her staff did fail to do is to properly manage post-op expectations. This could actually have been avoided if the dental assistant or even the receptionist told you that you need to come back to have the wire clipped if it is poking out at you. These things are usually delegated to the staff, not the dentist.
How to tell my dentist that i want braces?
Ok, i want braces. Cuz i have grade eight grad next year, but my smile is horible. My teeth are crooked, and i would like to know some ways i can ask my dentist this. Ps, i am shy. So i would prefere something short and sweet asap.
I want my braces off ASAP!?
It depends on how your teeth and bite fix themselves, if you still have a year left in your treatment you wont be getting them off in a couple of months, if you have a few months left try: - Asking your orthodontist what there still is to fix and how long it will take - Wear your elastics (they will hurt and be a pain at first but soon they will make a huge difference to your bite) - Book your appointments a week early, eventually the weeks will add up and you can get them off slightly earlier than scheduled I have had braces for 2 years and I was supposed to get them off in February but because my canine teeth didn't grow in I had to get surgery and now I'm going to have them on for an additional few months. In the end, you've had them on for so long now, why settle for anything less than beautiful straight teeth. And just because you have braces and glasses doesn't make you look like a dork, just smile and rock it, no one even notices my braces anymore. Hope this helps, Megan

Any tips on getting braces off asap??
There's really nothing you can do to speed up the process except follow your dentist's/orthodontist's directions. If you don't, it'll just make the process longer.
Any tips for getting my braces off ASAP?
I've had braces on my top teeth for about a year now, my orthodontist said they'll be off in around 5 months, but is there some exercises I could do to help tighten them to help me to get them off soon. I hate them and I look like ugly Betty with them, I am in the teenage modelling industry, I just don't want to apply for any jobs at the moment as I'm sure braces won't fit their criterias.
I WANT braces more than anything!?
1. Take sledgehammer. 2. Find willing friend. 3. Have friend smash face in with sledgehammer. 4. Go to dentist. 5. Ask dentist if you can have braces. If he agrees, skip the next step and you're done! 6. Repeat step 3 as necessary until satisfactory results are achieved.
I've had my braces for a while, and one single tooth started hurting. What happened?
There could be a number of reasons for your tooth hurting. You may have a cavity, there might be something stuck or it could be the braces. It’s best to get your orthodontist to check it out. You may need to have an x-ray to check if it’s something more serious. Sometimes our teeth hurt just because of sensitivity, don’t stress too much until you’ve seen your orthodontist.
Can my Dentist tell I haven't been wearing my rubber bands(Dentists)?
There's no avoiding the problem. If the elastic was a tight one and he expected change, he will notice. he might not say anything about it but he's trained enough to know. Just know that this is only keeping your braces on for longer.
