Music is a whole term describing Lyrics and the beat.What it sounds like you want to do is make beats as I am sure you already Rap.There is software to help with that such as FL Studio which you have to pay for I think.I do not know free software for beats at this moment.Youtube sometimes has free beats.As for freestyling you do not have to freestyle to be a Rapper.I would suggest improving your skills by reading a lot and learn to rhyme a lot of words.Eminem read and studied the dictionary for example.I would suggest reading books and the dictionary.Listen to other Rap songs and try to Rap long and it will come naturally. i;m really not motivated like i want to be i dont work on my craft as much as i should and i dont really push myself. i dont know what to rap about and everytime i write something i think nobody's gonna like it or i write something that i think is good then after a couple days i say man this is garbage and don't make sense. im not sure if this is what i want to do because i love it or if it's because it's the only thing i really stuck to and took serious. im 18 btw, got a job but rapping always been something i thought was cool but if i cant figure out what to rap or create my own flow then it's kinda impossible. i know ur probably thinkin how are u a rapper and u dont know what to rap about and dont have a flow. i usually listen to rappers and im able to write something afterwards but i dont want it to sound like im biting their style. if there's anybody/any aspiring rapper like myself that can help me i would really appreciate
I'm Asian and I want to be a rapper?
I'm Korean and I really like rapping and listen to rap/hip hop. But as you know, black people and eminem dominate the world of rap/hip hop. Also, I wasn't even born in USA. I immigrated here 4 years ago and I still have a bit of trouble in language. When I rap battle with friends, they always rap about how my eyes are chinky, slanted, and I eat dog and have a small penis. and do stuffs like ching chong chong. There are plenty of subjects and stereotype they can use to combat against Asian like me but I can't really make fun of white people or black people in battle. What do you suggest?

ive done alot of research on how to be succesful with rapping. i think ive got what it takes. i been rapping for a couple weeks now. im 18. ive listened to rap since 13 and liatened to the greats of rap. not the mainstream garbage.
